How do I search for additional specific cards from the same seller? I buy North Carolina Tar Heel basketball cards in bulk. After I search Sportlots for a specific card I pick the seller with the most in inventory and add to cart. I then want to see what other cards the seller has that I can add to the order. Bryanscs told me now to do this on the old format. I can't figure it out on the new.

You can also get to this from the details view. Just click anywhere on the row for that card and it will bring you to the same place.

For the seller profile info, what is kind of neat is as you click on each of the cards in inventory at the top, you will see the information in the profile change. So for example if you are on the postage info, as you click on the card inventory you can see the postage rates change for each seller.

If you have cards in your shopping cart for that seller, the line on the postage chart that matches the amount of cards will be highlighted in green.

After you do your search, on the left side under the "inventory filters" you will see a drop down to select a seller. Only sellers that meet the search criteria will show up. click on that seller to get just their inventory.

The seller will then also "stick" for any subsequent searched because it is assumed that you want to continue doing future searches just for that seller. That will remain that way either until you remove the filter or after about 30 minutes of inactivity.

That is perfect!! Thank you. Much easier than with the old format.

I see the ability to make offers on cards. I like that. Was this available in the old format or is this new?

Nothing new. We need to make improvements on that process however and will be done in a later phase.

Just spent some time loading inventory and I'm loving the changes today. New price history screen is really nice, thanks for updating that.

personally not a fan of the updates. I was averaging 4 sales a day and then noticed the updates yesterday and havent had a sale since. Could very well be coincidence but personally I liked the old layout better.

Every change to a website ever made has led to short term regression, but the goal is long term progression. I had 1 sale yesterday vs 4-8 over the past couple months...no concern here, people are a little slower in filling their carts, searching more in depth, taking a little more time.

Yeah I get it but in messing around with the new format Im noticing some potential misrepresentation of cards. If I search my own inventory in the gallery view, there are pictures of cards tied to my specific listing that arent my photos, when I click on the card and go into the details, the image is now not present. I wouldnt want someone buying a card from me based on a picture i did not provide. I am sure there are some kinks to still work out, but I personally still prefer the older site layout.

Could you please give me an example of this. This can happen but should be rare. The only way this can happen is if someone else purchased the other card with a picture that day. Within 24 hours, any images with cards sold should be removed from the gallery view. There could be a bug in that process, that is why I would like a sample to see if this is the case.

Here is an example. I notice it on both desktop and mobile.

First picture is viewing my gallery from the link to my seller name under preferred sellers. The Ed Spiezio card pictured is not a picture I provided, when I click on the card/listing it brings me to the second screen shot where there is no photo present in the listing. It’s not a 1 off I see it with a lot of cards I have listed.

Ok.. I see your issue. Those cards are available on Sportlots. If you were to do a search on "1971 Spiezio" (without a seller filter) you would find cards on Sportlots for this card with a picture.

The problem is, when you do a "seller" filter (or any other inventory filter, like Condition, Fresh, Preferred, Box) there is always a chance that the card that has the actual picture that is a representation for this card gets filtered out in the process.

However, when you go to the details screen and view your particular card, you do get the "Image Not Available" so it is clear that your card does not have a picture. You can not order the card without seeing that your card doesn't have a picture.

I selected a card from a seller. I wanted to check his other cards. But when I click on select a team (L A Dodgers), I can't search it. I can only scroll thur two pages of teams. When I choose select more, it stops at about the letter K and i can't go any farther. This happens with most sellers that I search. My next option after the second page is Select Less. So I can't view any teams that would start with the letter K or later

Yea, this will be a problem when searching an entire sellers inventory because it is bringing in minor league teams, college teams, etc..

If you filter on Baseball first so that only the Baseball teams show up.. Does that help?

I did try that but in my specific cases it didn't help. I will probably be able to work around this issue eventually .... will probably just take some time and tinkering on my part

What I could do (fairly easily) is only show the current MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL teams. Not sure how many people are looking for Minor League and College teams. But that would greatly reduce the number of teams on the list.

Longer term, maybe I could have some sort of paging option on the filter section for Teams and Sets filters that can be pretty long.

Another short-term solution I'm thinking about is to sort the teams in descending order based on quantity of cards. That would float all of the major league teams at the top unless the search brought in college/minor league sets and then they would still show up.

Any thoughts??

Ok.. I think this is complete. What I did was sort the Team filter in Descending order based on the number of cards found. That will most often float the major league teams toward the top, but still will allow "other" teams show up if you happen to search on minor league or college sets.

Hope this works better for everyone.
