So I saw this pop up on some places at $129 coming out on January 24th. Anyone heard anything about when they will be available from Topps for preorder or just regular order?

Anyone hear the rumor that Topps screwed these up and printed the front design on the fronts and backs on error, and that is the reason for the delay? Not only does it push back SC but also Topps series 1.

Dacardworld website has the date listed as January 24th. For what it’s worth.

I also saw some pics on social media of the cards printed wrong. Fronts on both sides.

I wonder what this does to stadium Club Chrome??

Topps should just randomly insert a few of those for a bonus unannounced, collectable/collectible parallel. Would be way more fun than the usual totally pointless SC parallels.

CP is correct - looks like exactly one half of a hobby box. Same size packs, same amount of cards per pack - just half as many packs and half as many hits

I started putting together full sets of parallels in 2019 and was hoping to continue (every card at least red foil). Maybe this delay will kill demand enough to keep the prices down.

Each compact box features 1 Autograph and 1 Chrome Parallel or Triumvirates Insert.

Yuck. That seems well within the realm of probability. $50 and $100 sounds great. $120 and $60 will be what I hope for. I'd really like it if they just ditched retail and replaced the retail SKU with the new half-boxes. Those would be fun to stumble into at Target.

I feel like we are seeing a lot of these "lite" boxes now for a lot of product. The "compact" box is similar....at least you get an auto in these?!?

Seems like a standard SC checklist as per many years running now.

Retail blasters seem like a good option to build a set. Am tempted but will probably just sample those a little and pick up singles instead. Not a cheap set to assemble.
