Checklist is out. Wemby doesn't have a Net Marvels which is surprising. He does have a Night Moves and Animation short print.

Panini is bringing back the Next Day Personal so you can try to trick Wemby to sign it in person and get yourself a Wemby Next Day Auto.

Dominators vet autos are back in hobby, checklist is solid but the top guys will probably be redemption.

19/20 was the only year they did rookie Net Marvels. Although this would have been a perfect year to bring those back.

That said, if you aren't going to do rookies then you need to have a good sophomore checklist, and Panini has failed at that. How does Chet, Jalen, and Banchero not have NM? Crunch Time would be another set we should see a lot of sophomores but we just don't. Glad to see the rookies in so many other sets but your two most popular insert sets continue to be plagued with the same ole names.

The product will still be very fun for the Wemby chase. Even a non-auto red or blue is gonna be like hitting a top auto in previous years. I have one case coming but possibly looking at a second. I just wish for once they would actually get new names into the bigger insert sets. NM isn't what it used to be as it is. New names would at least drum up new demand not to mention the clock is ticking on Panini and some deserving candidates may never see a NM card.

My son and I have enjoyed Donruss hobby boxes in the past, but lately you hardly get any numbered lasers anymore, they don't put rookies in the inserts, and frankly we don't need more net marvels and crunch times of the same vets over and over again. It's honestly hard to try to pick something out to collect. Things like Donruss and Optic and Prizm are all just printed to the moon and watered down. We might just wait for something like Recon which at least so far has not been printed to the moon, and they put the rookies into the insert sets.

There's a ton of rookies in this year's insert sets. They even put rookies in Retro Series which is odd but whatever. They are NOT in Crunch or Net but if you look at the checklist there are a lot of sets that have them this year compared to previous years.

Ok. I didn't even look at Retro. Kind of shocking that would have rookies. Maybe I'll wait for things to come out, see which inserts are in hobby vs retail, wait for the prices to come down, and then decide.
