Auburn not a QB factory. For reference, Nix went 0-4 against Georgia and 0-3 against Washington in his college career. If an NFL team decides to cater to his skill set by using a 1st round pick on him, they will be using a 1st round pick on another QB within 2-3 years. He's not that guy. Very nice college QB without a doubt. Salvaged his career through the portal.

Also laughable that Shadeur Sanders is trending to be a 1st rounder. That is the reality of the NFL Draft though. Desperation to fill that void, and considering the current play of 32 starting QB's I can see why teams do take these bad risks.

I gotcha, thank you for the clarification. From what I see, Georgia's gone 49-3 since 2020. Doesn't seem like a fair expectation for anyone to beat them. Even the front runner for the 2023 NFL OROY CJ Stroud had a good game and still lost to Georgia a year ago.

Sucks for Quinn Ewers prospects I suppose, having lost to Washington. Probably why he stayed at Texas, to wash that stink off and salvage his draft stock.

I don't know how Nix will shake out in the NFL, I'm certainly no GM or talent scout so I'd rely on the feedback of people paid to do this sort of thing. Though I understand the experts get it wrong from time to time.

It doesn't take being psychic to nail 3 of the top 4, Alabama, Texas, Michigan (maybe not in that order) Maybe Georgia/Ohio??

The Mannings picked Texas precisely so he could sit and learn.

Obviously things could change, but transferring isn't something the Mannings are looking at.
