The problem with #2 is that some random at Fanatics/Topps said there would be SSPs and SPs. But there was no confirmation that it would be going back to exactly what is was in 2022 and before. That is just what people rolled with. There's now two full set variations.

He had a ONE HR in 97 PAs of minor league ball and ONE HR in 132 PAs in the majors lol. He probably has the least HRs in the first 130 PAs of any 1B in the last decade

Agree with you 100%. I'm hopeful they go back, but agree that there is no confirmation (which is no change from prior years, the variations were not part of the official checklist)

There are 65 RCs on the base checklist.

57 of them debuted in June or July of 2023. 5 in August. 3 in September (Ronny Mauricio, Jasson Dominguez, Evan Carter).

So it looks like the criteria for S1 RCs is 1. debuted first half of season or 2. hot rookie who will sell product.

Don't be so sure.....looks like the auto in flagship is a sitcker auto, whereas Heritage would need to be on-card.

Got it. Just curious, when has the black been different than any other colors?

I guess I don't see what makes the black that special, other than it's a more desirable color than pink or blue.

Needs a swing change which would likely curb the AVG upside.

He (Nolan Schanuel) also did not hit the ball hard at all in 90 batted ball events last season. Min 50 BBE, he was 488 out of 496 in max EV (source: baseball savant)

10 HR in 600 PAs is a good O/U. His cards should not cost much. I had never heard of him, but I don't prospect. He wasn't on the radar for 12tm fantasy leagues last year either.
