I love that its unique. I don't like it when design's are so close to previous ones. I don't think its perfect, but nothing is. I want to see better Independence Day parallel's. Hopefully they improve on those this year.

I guess if you don’t like it you’re a hater and wrong.
All praise Marty Moose!

I think the bigger issue for Fanatics is that given how many products are essentially "parallels" of the flagship design, their sales will also be hurt if the flagship design does not have widespread appeal.

Oh man, you’re not wrong, but you’re triggering bad memories for me. After spending most of 2022 hunting for a new house, I have learned to hate the terms “open concept”, “open floor plan”, and the color gray.
If Fanatics wanted to show some concepts with Shiplap, I would give them a look. No promises though. |

Huh! I wonder how these will look in Gilded? Total opposite ends of the spectrum.

No kidding, there is a stark turn in the consumer branding space to brands with more character after basically, every brand went to black and white with block lettering.

I do like the thinner borders, looks better than the original mockup. Still kinda meh, dont love it, dont hate it. Feels like a Steve Aoki release not a basic flagship one.

A little too retro and a little too casual-ish looking

Where this design would rank for me in recent times:
1. 2018 2. 2022 3. 2023 4. 2019 5. 2024 6. 2020 7. 2021 |

If the sample Elly they use for Marketing is OC, what chance does a regular pack pulled card have....
Black borders and huge borders will create an insane premium for PSA 10 paper. Not a fan of the paper but the chrome could be next level. |
