I don't think this is right, I think every 2023 debut before a certain date (same cutoff as for RC, I think, but haven't studied in detail).

An example is Pete Crow-Armstrong; "Call up" in 2023, I anticipate Debut Patch cards in 2024 releases.

FWIW, they are reopening preorders for retail distro, I think they got a lot less than they initially expected.

Do they think withholding the design is going to build hype? Or is the design so ugly that they want to shock drop it so no one has the chance to notice?

I think Fanatics just has no idea what they're doing. They screw up so much it's basically the norm at this point.

A lot of people here think so. They say it’s now standard operation procedure for fanatics to just roll out products with no previews like bad Hollywood movies.

It's flagship. Of course we all still buy regardless. I think they want to do some big massive promotion for release and baseball starting up. All of the chatter and buzz that is usually spread out over weeks and months will be crammed into a tighter window to light a fire under the product.

There will be something big attached to the reveal for sure. Most likely something different that we have not seen yet. Or at the minimum, an announcement of some sort of big buyback or bounty.

This has to be the widest borders ever for flagship. Looks like the 70's and 90's had a test tube baby. Could you even get an o/c flagship card with a border as wide as this?

Dude, I agree with you but I think we may be the only two in this thread. It's something DIFFERENT. There are going to be a ton of centering issues but I'm in on this design.
