Not a name we're looking for, but it looks like some of his 1/1's do a lot better than you might expect. No matter what, though, you did great!

I know someone had estimated 1.2 K base cards per subject but I think it is much less than that. The boxes that have the thick cards only contain 2 base cards and there are about 4 boxes per case that have the thick cards on average. So base run is probably much lower. Just an observation.

Lets say someone was sitting on 2 cases. Would you advise them to hold or move now?

Hold. Not sure how high they will get but feel like there is more room to go up. Plus sealed cases should bring a premium with how easy it is to tell if you have a thick card in a box. No way I would buy any loose boxes off of ebay.

Dont forget the complaint about the legal mumble jumble about the relic not being from a specific game.

Why are you so angry and hostile? Please try to be civil.

I know what your exact quote was and I know what you said. Please review what I said, too. You're saying that if you get 4 boxes for a total of $320, it's a really good bet that at least one of those boxes will be good enough to get you up to a total of $320 for the contents of all 4 boxes combined. And, based on all I've seen, I'm saying I disagree with that assessment.

I never said that you claimed 1 box alone was likely to net someone $320.

Is there normally 6 base/box? If so that would lower the PR to 975ish

Just received the 72 boxes I ordered from Buffalo and I'm VERY happy!!

I originally ordered 48 loose boxes (two orders of 24 boxes) and 2 sealed cases.

They sent me FOUR sealed cases and 24 loose boxes (one of the loose boxes is banged up but I'll take this outcome ANY day of the week).

Thank you, Buffalo and Topps, for this awesome holiday treat!!!

There are several boxes with 3-4 parallels/Image Variations. Every box with a base relic has, at most, 2 base, from what I've seen (base relic, auto, parallel, captain, 2 base).

I just ripped another 4...

Gold Frelick auto, Orange Machado Captain, Shohei Base, couple other parallels

Gimenez Black Auto Relic /10

Italian Breakfast Black Auto /10

My first Country Debut (Eloy Orange Auto)
JRod Gold Base Relic

Agreed. Not every 4 box break (or more) will "put you in the black".

No problem at all, Mike! Truly happy for you, certainly a fantastic "birthday" (month) gift break for you. Wish you the best on your remaining two!!

Shohei Ohtani Auto/Relic Orange #/25 (sold for $2800)

Kensuke Kondoh Global Grandeur Red parallel #/5 (sold for $200)
Cedric Mullins Country Debut Red Parallel Auto #/5 (sold for $70)
Andres Gimenez Auto/Relic Black #/10 (pending offer of $50)
Masataka Yoshida Auto (pending offer of $70)
Juan Soto Auto/Relic Orange #/25 (still have)
Munetaka Murakami Base Relic (still have)
Bo Naylor Auto/Relic Orange #/25 (still have)

I'm up around $3000 in profit. Even if I didn't hit the Ohtani auto relic I would be doing very well. I know there are dud boxes though and I have been very lucky so far. Probably all down hill for my last 8 boxes...

Hopefully the good luck continues!
Holy crap, up $3000 from 8 (or 16, doesn't even matter) boxes?! Even your non-Ohtani cards sold well but man, those 2 Ohtanis, really sold well lol.

Congratulations to you!! You could crack 8 boxes with 100% missing cards each and still dance the night away :P
