i bought a box of 2022 Bowman Best University, nice looking cards. crappy autographs, no Penix, but i pulled a Caleb Williams Gunslingers lava card #'d to 50.

Not a fan of 3 straight years of Caleb cards but very very happy they are bringing back an old school Fusion insert design. Bowman's Best is at it's Best when it lives in the 90s.

It's too soon after Sapphire... my wallet has not had time to recover, so I'm going to have to pass... but no regrets on buying the Sapphire product, I think it is the better one.

Looking forward to buying a ton of these over the summer at the National again to get the BUC National packs. Until then, hard pass after last year's horrible release. Best has to prove to me it's good before I drop another dime on it.

That said, I bought 5 cases of last years over the past month for $500/case because I thought there was value there, so my willpower is weak.
