Big game vs. the Chiefs next, but a fairly soft schedule to finish. We may be able to get to 8-9 or 9-8 which I thought was impossible.
It didn't look too good for awhile. But regardless of what happens the rest of the season, i think he has secured his job with the Packers for the next season at the very least, with this strong stretch. Beathing the Lions in the rematch showed he's capable of learning and adjusting very well. Also great win against KC.

So when will Love get a grammatically-correct hype thread?

Love on his way to being a top 10 QB. While the Bears still wondering what it will take to ever find a QB.

GB has their QB

he just needed some time for the growing pains, but GB is going to be just fine.

Tony Dungy mustache just keeps on cybertruckin.

Grats to all those that HEDL during the tumultuous stretch. Enjoy your new Maseratis.

The distance between him and Ridder for the #teamlightskin Good Hair crown was never close.

Personally I'm glad they didn't bench him for Sean Clifford.

So a young QB takes at least 3 years to sit, learn, play, fail and succeed?

Wow, it's like teams don't give their draft picks time

That IMO was never on the table. That was just fools who hated Love. I am still not sold on Clifford being a capable backup in the NFL and was just drafted because GB needed a super cheap backup this year because of their limited cap space.

I don't collect cards anymore but I am guessing the last 5 weeks now Love value on cards has skyrockted and people are trying to get as many as they can to sit on and hope 3-5 years from now he's a big star to keep holding or flip for a nice profit.

I have been buying love since 2020. His prices dipped when he was playing poorly and have slowly started to come back up-bit I have not seen a “sky rocket”

Agreed, they’re still a lot higher than before Rodgers was traded, but that is still the peak, the only time they really sky rocketed. They’ve only jumped a little the last few weeks.

As someone who lost Burrow for the year in fantasy, man it's been perfect timing to see my backup, Love, come into his own. He's been playing really well the last couple of weeks. From a non-fantasy standpoint, the Pack have a real shot at running the table the last five weeks of the season. Giants, Bucs, Panthers, Vikings, and Bears to finish out the year. The Bears have played better lately, but the other four teams are all very, very nice matchups for Love and the Packers. They'd make for a very interesting Wild Card team in the postseason.

He keeps looking better and better each week.

Over the last 8 games he's had 16 TDs and 3 INTs.

He's also up to a tie for 3rd most TDs in the NFL with 27.

He is playing like he could be a solid top 10 QB for the future which is what almost any team would be more then thrilled to have

and he's doing a lot of this without Aaron Jones and Christian Watson healthy.

like i said before, Love is good, and GB has their guy. not saying he's going to be Aaron Rodgers good either, but the Packers have their QB.

He's young still developing. But I see no reason in couple years if GB adds some more around him he could not be in talk for MVP.

How crazy comparable are Love's and Rodger's stats as 1st years starters?

Aaron Rodgers in 16 games as first-time starter in 2008: 341-536 (63.8%), 4,038 yards, 28 TD, 13 INT and...a 93.8 passer rating.

Jordan Love through 16 games in his first season as #Packers starter: 345-547 (63%), 3,843 yards, 30 TD, 11 INT, 93.8 rating

And Love blows Rodgers out of the water in likeability...

I think if GB does not blow a few of these games they did and win 2-3 more games Love is in MVP talk if GB is 11-5 or 12-4 right now.

Let’s not get carried away. Love has essentially the stats that Baker Mayfield and Russell Wilson have. Love has definitely improved and looks like he could become a solid top 12-14 guys for sure. But he still shows his inaccuracies. Last night, any QB could’ve hit those passes. Not a defender within 7 yards and he still missed a couple of them. But saying Love would be in MVP talks with 11 wins kinda of makes me laugh. That’s like saying Baker Mayfield would be in MVP talks with 10 wins which just isn’t true. The Vikings won 13 games last year and Kirk wasn’t anywhere near the MVP talks despite being one of the sole reasons we were winning with a putrid defense.

This also isn’t a me “hating on Love” post. He is solid and has gotten better from the start of the year. Let’s see how this off-season treats his improvements, that will be very telling on what type of career he can have.

This is a dead on take IMO, and I'm a huge Packer fan. Love has done exactly what Packer faithful were hoping going into this year - shown steady improvement from week 1 on. He has made some jaw dropping throws, but the throw to throw accuracy still is lacking.

Yeah, I'm waiting on seeing an improvement in his footwork. So far he looks pretty darn good, but developmental improvement isn't linear in football. His footwork has to get better. We also played an unbelievably easy schedule.

I have only watched Love sparingly this year so I can only comment on the Packers/Giants game that I watched start to finish. His footwork was very poor in that game and he missed some wide open and easy throws on some big third downs. He also made a few fantastic throws where his potential truly showed. As you said it's a work in progress but there is still a lot of work to be done. Ultimately if I was a Packers fan I would feel more on the optimistic side though.
