Fwiw, Alt says Ohtani pricing is at about Jun-23 levels before he went into that torrid barrage month. More or less feels about right, but the main difference is that rare inventory is listed at much higher price points than the Jun-23 period. In other words, there is not a ton of resistance blocking a sharp price increase. Just my .02, would love to hear other thoughts.

Based on the deferred contact, it shows that Ohtani is committed to winning rings. It also told me that his attitude is that of fierce competitors and leaders like TB12, MJ and Kobe. Sure enough, my thoughts have been confirmed that there was influence there from at least one of the greats.

マンバ mentality...I hope Sho just rips from the jump. Expectations are off the charts.

Most graded cards of 2023 for baseball. Jordan was #2 overall in sports at 160K+. All about that base!

They didn't list a figure but the #1 most submitted card of the year for PSA was 2018 Bowman #49

Bought this at a local show today. Paid more than the one that ended today on Ebay this evening, which is a bummer as I was the under bidder on that one as well. Ahh well, happy to have one back in the collection. This was the first Sho I ever bought, and had to sell my original copy to pay bills some time ago. The Heritage Action #17 has a special place in my heart, as does Shohei.

Can't fathom you maniacs cracking out a card already rated Gem Mint just to get in another piece of plastic. Crazies
![]() If you PSA that one, make sure all the rear corners are white-free. That's the main thing that prevents a 10. |

CSG is strangely ergonomically comfortable. I hope they overtake the baggies. |

Thanks for the advice! The back corners look sharp to the naked eye, with the top left back corner having the tiniest hint of white. I'd submit this card raw all day believing there's a good chance for a 10, but it's a gamble regardless. Now I need to find some cheap BGS slabs to practice on - cracking is frontier for me. Have to learn the same, but just to liberate some low leverage 8s for putting in a binder page. Not sure yet which of my chainsaws to try first.
Definitely going with PSA for some Ohtani submissions soon, but I have this odd optimism that going with the Tux for a nice Acuna back when PSA was still notably more expensive, well, that will be OK for a Ronnie card. |

By far 1. Soto 2. Michael Harris BC Autos 3. Corbin BC Autos I don't know how much Soto stuff has run up since the Yankees but I still think he's the best. Harris is the biggest gamble but probably a good one. Personally I've bought 0 baseball in the offseason, all into Purdy |
