I may be talking out of place here, but I think if any cards in the submission qualified for an up-charge, that can be a big reason a submission gets stuck in QA2. Other grading vets in this forum probably have better answers, though.

Cracking out all the 10s to put them into 9 holders

I was just in a sub that got stuck and the reason was there were 2 cards in the submission, not mine, that had issues.

QA2 is the last step that we send updates out for until the day before the sub arrives back at our office. That is when we will invoice you and pop the grades. That is why QA2 can seem to last a bit longer.

That one is still within their turnaround time. They quote Dual Service Bulk as being 75 business days and the clock starts when it moves to Research and ID. They have to authenticate/grade the auto first before it moves to the card grading process.

I submitted my first ever 20 cards for grading as a part of bulk submission 2023.420 and somehow got a 10 for 19 of them.

Wanted to say a big thanks to the PC Sportscards teams for all of their YouTube videos, particularly their $1000 grading challenge ones. It really gave me an idea of what to look for when submitting cards and they played a big part in my selection process. Looking forward to submitting a bunch more in the near future.
