...oh, and it is looking like Cason Wallace is a better option than any veteran guard that might be available...

Such a beautiful brand of basketball. And defend hard on all areas of the floor. They are on my nightly must-watch list!

These guys are already bigger than 1% of the human beings on earth, but Chet is playing on a nerf hoop.

(And how did Shai score 43???)

Nice bounceback win on the road!

Shai & J-Will will pummel the opposing team into submission

This team is really fun to watch. It will be interesting to see how far they can go this year. Hopefully the injury bug won’t be as bad as it can be sometimes. Always the wild card.

The one thing I worry about with them is being so young... I loved the move Houston made with getting Vanvleet... he brings a calming presence to the young players... Shai is one of the top 5 talents in the game imo, but he is still very young and I haven't seen the total leadership from him as of yet, I know it will come. I agree with an above statement that they are also at the point of having too much... they are playing a ton of players and i think as the season moves on they need to settle on a solid 8 or 9 getting the minutes... their bench is deep and young and they have so many picks coming. part of me wants to see a trade for a big that can rim protect and move chet to the 4. i have watched about every game they have played for the last 3 years now and am glad people are now seeing how much fun and how talented they are... i had them at around 46 wins this year which now seems a bit low, but they have so many players getting better at the same time.. it's actually incredible to watch... Go Thunder!!! And this from a life long Nuggets fan.... Have a good Holiday to all..

Led big in Dallas, then survived a 30-0 run and trailing by 6 late in 4th quarter to win anyway. Quite a recovery.

I don't understand why SGA isn't taking more shots in this game. Took only 13 shots and still shoot at better FG% than the team average.

The flow of the game. You don’t want him forcing up shots just cause. This is what good teams do, when their best player isn’t putting up a ton of shots the rest of the team distributes them evenly

He'll hardly be forcing shots when he is shooting better than the team on average. It's understandable if a certain teammate has the hot hand and he's feeding him, but that's not the case, since much of the shots were somewhat evenly distributed amongst the better and worse shooters of the night. Having an evenly scoring load sounds good on papers, but how often does a championship team (I hope they're striving for one) have an evenly distributed scoring load? The last one I remembered was the Pistons and that's mostly because it was a defensive power-house. Most title winning teams have 2-3 players taking majority of the shots.

I think Shai made all the right reads, and all the winning plays, that made them come out on top.

I love Luka as well, but OKC was better as a team for 48 minutes.

Rarely, but if you look at the box Shai is almost always the leading shot taker. You only need to spread it out once in a while

What about tonight's game? SGA is one of the most efficient shot maker in tonight's game and most of his teammates are shooting bricks, he should be much more aggressive.

This is definitely still a young team, but they seem to have trouble with Houston. Houston looks better this year so far, but still seems like the Thunder should have some advantage. Basketball is variable.

They got out rebounded by 23 and gave up 21 more points via 3s than what they made.

He scored 33 points on 18 shots and 9 FTs. You're not going to win all of them.

He took 5 more shots than anyone else. What is it that you want from Shai?

Should he be taking 30 shots a game?

He’s so efficient because he picks his spots and takes good shots. If you’re asking him to force more his efficiency is going to go down

That's a lot? Considering he's the sole star in the team, taking 18 shots is not a whole lot, especially when he's shooting 72.2 FG% and the whole team shoots at 42.5 FG%, while the opposing team shoots at 48.2% FG. I'm not asking for 30 shots every night, but at a night with such efficiency, he should be taking 25 shots and scoring 40+ points, in order to give his team a shot at winning. It's like what some analyst say, when there's a mismatch, give the ball to the guy with the advantage, when someone has the hot hand, give him the ball.
