Agree. I picked up a case of cellos, case of Megas and a few cases of blasters with no real plan for them. Either rip, store or sell. Ripped a box of cellos today and the base cards are really clean looking and I expect will grade well.

Cello box yielded no hits and no numbered cards.

Ok. Here is a weird question. I broke down and had lapse in judgment and decided to buy (8) megas for a Christmas gift from my local LCS. The megas come 20 per case, and in the case they were in two rows of 10. When the shop owner pulled my (8) megas, he pulled them all from the same row. There's no possibility that Panini would pack these such that one row has all the autos and the other row doesn't have autos, is there?

There is that possibility but no one can confidently answer either way.

First off, the base design of this set is surprisingly classy, clean, and it just stands out. Going back to the cursive Prestige logo also brings a bit of identity back to a set that became a bland afterthought.

Does anyone remember 2011 Topps Legends? Reminds me of that.

Second, how does Elite have pro-uni RCs but Prestige doesn't? Elite came out a month or two ago AND Panini had that extra time due to the NFLPA pulling out to get Rookie Premiere shots on these cards.

I was 2 for 2 on autos.

Hardy Nickerson and Jake Moody. A team card of the Bucs that might be a harder hit but not worth anything either way. CJ and ARich rookies. Lots of no name rookie, too. Best parallels were a Zay Flowers whatever pattern and CMC gold /50.

Busted an H2 this week against my better judgment. I agree with the look of the base cards and the addition of the cursive, looks clean. College unis are a huge L. Did hit a Zay Flowers on card Draft Day auto so wasn't a total loss. Also a nice Tank Bigsby yellow foil /75.

I didn't see a thread on other formats, and this post doesn't deserve it's own place.

I just ripped a 20 box case of blasters. Posting results here for future reference. Box advertises 1 #ed card and 8 RCs per box and that is accurate. With such a large RC checklist, I generally pulled 2 of each major person. At least I know I pulled 2 CJ Strouds. I pulled no autos. I pulled 7 cards that were numbered to 99 or less (including a few to 25).

As a guideline, I need to expect to sell a card for $40 or more as a PSA 10 for me to grade it and I pulled 17 cards here that I will sub for grading (and I am usually around 75% 10's). I did not pull any cards that I expect to get more than $75 for, even as a 10 (except maybe Stroud - depends where his prices are in 4 months). No big hits. No autos. Nothing numbered lower than 25. Overall, the quality control on these cards is pretty good. Just hard to hit anything worthwhile.

How are you supposed to tell the difference between Xtra Points and Xtra Points Premium cards? A lot of the colors have the same serial numbers listed for both versions.

Full card foil effect vs not in previous years. Can't say if they kept that up, Panini isn't known to full a style guide too closely.

Ok thanks. Hard to tell in pics which is what so as a player collect it's difficult to discern. They should make the serial numbers different to make it easier.

Agreed. Best luck I've had is whether the card seems "dark" (foil) or not. I'll post some scans of a couple Justin Fields cards from 3031 when I dig them up as an example.

My son pulled this out of a Prestige value pack last night. I had picked up a couple on sale at a WM that we stopped at during a road trip. He wanted to rip something last night so I gave him one to open and he pulls this out of the pack and a rookie Stroud.

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.
