Found it an tried to use it and it didn't work like I saw happened for others. How can Topps/Fanatics be that incompetent time after time? Many of the Breakers on Fanatics Live are jokes and there's no way they help grow the hobby.

I'm curious how much they lost on this fiasco - no idea what they started the numbering at on the codes but wouldn't be surprised if at 0001. Mine was 4 digits near 2k but the format suggests less than 10k codes. Lets just say 5k MC members times $50 = $250,000 or more conservative at 3k members for $150k. Whatever the case, if the cheaters made it through the entire code which seems to be the case that is a substantial F-up that hopefully cost someone (or multiple) their job. Granted the pain is less considering it only impacted their in-house breakers who are already selling spots at often insanely overpriced rates.

One would think had they caught it early they could have deactivated the series and sent us out new ones, but that has not happened and I don't expect it to. They seem to only want to address those who complain, and even some of those never got a working code.

You could easily have one person entering 500 breaks at less than 50.00 a slot and paying nothing. Wonder if Fanatics can legally go after them to pay the monetary value of the codes they cheated using....

Just went to test my code for funsies since I don't do breaks, and it doesn't work. Did they really format these codes starting with MONT and then just adding numbers? Like WTF.

Ok, who do I contact for this f*ck up?

Yeah you're not missing out. I paid $14 after my $50 discount to get a Shea Langeliers /75 that's worth $4.

Without the code I would've paid $64 for that beauty! What a racket breaking is.

I opened a ticket with Fanatics Live support and they sent me a working work later that day.

Unfortunately, you still have to pay tax and shipping even if the spot you buy is less than $50. I didn't want to come out of pocket any more than I had to so I did a 2023 Finest Flashbacks two pack break for $38. Hit a Yordan refractor and Wander gold border. Might be able to get my $5 that I paid for tax and shipping back, just barely.

Thank you for this, I'll go through their support.

And yes, there's a better chance of me painting on a wobbly easel than using this code to support the breakers on there. But, I'll get a new code just because.

They seriously charge for shipping on top? That IS RIDICULOUS. Granted it was pre-covid (and mainly 2013-2018) since I have entered a break but shipping was always free with every breaker I ever participated with unless you hit something big $ that you wanted insurance or special handling on. Even the full size helmets, bats and jerseys would ship free.

Guess they think they need more $ on that $300 box of cards they just broke at a $700 buy in.

On these forums, breakers just price it into the break spot price. I actually like the fanatics way better so that you don't end up having to pay twice for it (or do first/nth pricing).

I did many many Houdini and ifish73 breaks that were done this way.

But yeah I used $50 discount code to cover a $45 twins spot and had to pony up ~$7 for shipping and tax. Meh, seems about right.

This was for two packs of FF, which if I didn't have the coupon would have been around $46 after tax/shipping. Also, the other $12 that I didn't use from the coupon is lost. It's one time use.

Maybe customer support will refund the difference? That's ridiculous. Imagine going to the store with a gift card and they still make you pay taxes and fees...

Yep, charged shipping for my order. Spot cost $42 and had to pay for shipping. Result was a 2022 Topps Chrome Sapphire orange Zac Gallen. Got lucky since card paid for the shipping I had to pay.

I didn't dig to deep into it, but it seemed like you have to do an individual payment for each spot you take.
The breaker I used my coupon on was offering combined teams through a manual process, increased the price of one and marked the other as claimed.

Managed to do decently on the break I used my coupon on. Mets were $50 in a chrome, gilded and tier one break, got an auto, a relic and 2 Alvarez rookies from Chrome for the $5 shipping and tax.

So you can use these code on anything for sale? The the code says pick your team spot. I did not see that many sellers doing pick a pack, but I would actually prefer that. Has anyone tried it with a random team break spot?

I was able to use my code for a team break with no issues. After you pick your spot, it takes you to a checkout screen where I was able to enter my promo code.

I used mine on a $39 archives team spot. Had to pay taxes and shipping even though the total was under $50. Got 2 autos out of the deal, a Freddie Freeman Gold and James Outman base.

Anything other than auctions I believe. I just stumbled onto the pack break since there is apparently no search function, at least that I could find. Hit Seekers was the breaker if that helps.

Thanks for the info. It is laughable how barebones Fanatics Live is as a potential buyer. I previously bought some stuff on Card Shop Live platform which recently shutdown and their buying experience was much better than Fanatics Live. I just tried to buy a $59 PYT spot and the replacement promo code that Fanatics Live CS provided still came up as invalid. I just want to use my promo and never use Fanatics Live again. LOL
