Which is why it is stupid that anyone thinks they did it on purpose.

Leclerc hit Altuve his first time up after his homer in Game 4. Why didn't Astros fans freak out? Because our player acted like an adult and went to 1st and because we realize it would have been stupid for them to do it on purpose.

The intentional stuff will happen next season when it's not the Playoffs.

I missed those excitements last night but they did seem to lead to the amazing sight of my man Ricky Williams, err, Jon Singleton (featured on one of the very best RC logo cards of all-time), get his first post-season At Bat. Ain’t nobody coulda predicted that happening back in Spring Training. Nobody.

And in classic fashion, he mostly stood there like the house by the side of the road and drew a Walk. So he still doesn’t have an official MLB Post-Season At Bat though he did score a Run.

You don't remember it because it never happened. Leclerc appeared in games 1, 2, and 5. He didn't appear in game 4 and Altuve didn't homer in game 4. And he wasn't hit in his first AB after his homer in game 3

As much as I adore Wheeler the Phillies seem a little overvalued to me today in the -135 to -140 range.

Yep, I'm a dummy. It was Game 5 and he threw at Dubon not Altuve. My brain was clearly not fully functional this morning.

Leclerc didn't hit anyone in game 5. He went high and inside on Dubon and then got him to fly out on the next pitch.

Will be interesting to see if they appeal. Max 48 hour turnaround in playoffs. He could wait until game 6 is about to start to appeal so he’s available for game 6 &7, but then he’ll be out for 2 games of WS if they make it. Wasn’t a smart move if it was on purpose. Astros were lucky Stressly got them out of that jam.

Thank goodness Phily chucks out WAR and has Schwarber leading off and have enough sense to realize there is clutch, Harper, Schwarber, etc. WAR builds for the regular season, clutch wins in the Post.
