![]() ![]() These two are pretty good for when, for instance, another member blindly backs known cheaters. Start with this one: ![]() Then, when they double down with the pathetic lie that everyone does it, as is sadly common, use this one: ![]() And since this is a baseball thread, use this one to suggest how people can best enjoy their game-day hot dogs:

I know some fans of my own favorite team do it, and I wish they wouldn't, but to me, there is nothing more cringe inducing than out-of-shape 40-ish year old dudes saying "we" won something as though they were part of a championship team.
Rooting for a team does not mean you are on that team. The propensity for any given professional team to win has absolutely nothing to do with how long any number of their fans can go without washing their various nacho cheese-stained knock-off lucky jerseys.

![]() It’s hilarious, but I was having a very similar reaction tonight. This is a funny, and common, behavior. I even catch myself doing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by pewe; 10-20-2023 at 11:40 PM. |

Cheaters/DBacks would be the worst WS I can remember.
Bummer the fans get robbed again of having two legitimate teams.

Yes And Yankees, etc. I’m not sure what’s up with the hate for one team, when it’s a broad based issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is it just my perception or are there more “bullpen games” than ever before in this year’s playoffs?

I was thinking the same exact thing last night too. I don’t know about the exact numbers, but it sure does feel like it. Pitcher attrition is getting worse and worse and by the time these teams get to the playoffs, they can barely field a 4-man rotation.

I'm happy for the D-backs they have two guys the Jays should never have traded ... Moreno and Gurriel ... both are having great play-offs and showing everyone from Toronto how good they would have been if they could have stayed here ... I'm still rooting for the Phillies to win the whole thing ... Go Bryce and the Boys!

Has there ever been a worse performance by the umpires than the last three games of the Astros/Rangers series? And the weird part is that the Astros won all three despite the umps heavily favoring the Rangers.

What do you think defines “legitimate” vs. the “rest”? Like if you are a small market team, you shouldn’t be allowed in the playoffs??? If hobby darlings aren’t on the team, they should be excluded? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

However I will say "we" b/c when you're as emotionally invested as I am, I feel the pain and the joy deeply. And since the pain is usually more often then the joy, let us have our moment! Lol

I always wait a few minutes, so the criticism isn't fresh and ask, "Hey, who won WWII?" Literally everyone says, "We did." "Oh, you fought the Germans at Normady?"

As any Dodger fan knows, when you see Kimbrel come in, say goodbye to your lead.

I think a Philly Astros rematch isn't terrible. I just don't think the dbacks can beat philly.

People losing their minds over Garcia getting plunked.
Want to show a team or pitcher up? Get plunked. Move on.
