Looks like roughly 2,882 cases of Hobby and 2,240 cases of Jumbo

In a case of Jumbo, you should average 9.24 numbered autos:

6.25 paper parallel autos
2.28 Chrome autos
0.71 Insert autos
(Hopefully your case has 3 total Chrome/Insert autos)

As for non-auto parallels, you should get 58.05 numbered cards:

37.35 paper parallels
1.4 insert parallels
19.3 Chrome parallels

The harder inserts (Echoes, Pick by Pick & Image Variations) all add up that you should get 1 of those 3 in a Jumbo case.

The Farm Fresh Futures & MiLB Legends insert odds show that you will fall a few cards short of making complete sets of each. Hopefully that is just a rounding thing with the odds & you do end up getting enough.

You will make 3.84 base sets & 1.34 Chrome base sets. Hopefully the collation is good.

Assuming these numbers at $66 and $95 per Hobby and Jumbo, this is about $4 million in product for 2023 Pro Debut.

Adding *some* Chrome to Hobby is also a plus & doesn't take much away from Jumbo.

The format changes are a positive here.

Exactly! Even before chromes were added to hobby, one of my favorite things about this product in that an informed consumer can make a genuine choice based on what they prefer and hopefully enjoy their break more.

The difference between flagship and Bowman hobby & jumbos is outrageous and why I don't buy anything beyond maybe a lone blaster of each these days.

These are what I calculated comparing Hobby and Jumbo Cases per the Odds (i calculated both by pack and by box and took the average of the two)

Hobby
- Double the Base Autos (~32.5 per case)
- Double the Parallel Autos (~12.5 per case)
- Triple the MILB Legends inserts (~54 per case)
- Triple the Farm Fresh Futures inserts (~54 per case)
- Pro Debut Echoes Insert (~1 per case)
- Future Cornerstones Auto (~1 per case)

Jumbo
- Double the Paper Foil Parallel Cards (~42 per Case)
- Double the Chrome Cards
- Double the Chrome Parallel Cards (~16 per Case)

Same Odds
- Roughly the same Chrome Auto Odds (~2 per Case)
- Roughly the same Image Variation Odds

There are SOME issues with jumbos, but it's not everyone.

Because it’s a month late already, remember?

Yes I know it's late, but I admit I misunderstood you a little bit.

Stadium Club was that for sure (they cash-grabbed at EVERYONE, then delayed). This release is less of a money maker, and now seeing these little release-day delays, probably more related to Fanatics' willingness to secure proper supply chains even now. Or you're completely correct & they're just 100% Machiavellian all the time. I hate that thought.

Most boxes I would say no. I think it's better by the case, so you can make a Chrome set that will get you a good amount back. Also by the case you can get boxes for about $90 each.

Definitely agree that this product is most enjoyable by the case, as well as for maximizing ROI.

For single boxes, I wouldn't pay a premium unless you really want an impulse rip (hell, I bought 2023 Prizm blasters recently lol). And I don't think there's any risk of these flying off the shelves.

Boxes of 2022 roughly stayed around release day prices for months until Elly blew up, which was a perfect storm since he had autos in Pro Debut and was in less releases than typical top prospects. Which I don't think is the case this year for most of the top names here (but I'm not a prospector, just like ripping some Pro Debut and Elite every year).

That's a steal. I'm expecting my LCS will be over $100 for jumbos. Hopefully one of the two is actually close to online prices.

$118 for a base second appearance in the product Elly auto. Seems a bit crazy

Looks like an AI generated description too. "This highly sought after 2023 set"

What's the adv of a jumbo vs hobby? 3 autos jumbo, 4 autos hobby (not that it really matters it's sold out at $65). I'm just curious. My local has them for under 100.

Went to my LCS and picked up a jumbo case for $700. Got really lucky and pulled these two cards. Any thoughts on the value of the quad auto? It's hard to see in the scan, it's numbered 9/10.
