Just like BNut, the Bellows Falls Fire Prevention parade was a letdown compared to the one in Claremont. Westminster didn't even bring their yellow ex-FDNY Mack tower. Instead they brought their boring red one.

We did get to meet with the Chief though. That was probably better than meeting BNut anyway.

We walked downtown to the memorial for the Line of Duty Deaths and caught many of the fire trucks coming through down there for a second time through. We ate lunch at the fine Subway that was decorated like a Hazmat zone for Halloween.

I can now back up glen's daily rants about the billion slow tourists up here. It is very annoying being in a nice sports car and driving like an 80 year old because of them. And don't get me started on the morons walking through a covered bridge designed for cars only.

After my PA friend left, I got to hit all of the tourist spots at Dartmouth College, went to an antiques store in Quechee, VT that my wife would spend 10 hours in, saw the Quechee Gorge, the Quechee covered bridge, Woodstock, VT, and even took in a Dartmouth College vs the USA Olympic Training Development Team.

Also had some more great pizza.

Tomorrow, I'm off to Naval Station Newport in Rhode Island for some fire truck photos and then the long ride home.

Yes, especially when you gunned the car halfway through the covered bridge.
