Anyone know what the Panini Instant RPS (Rookie Photo Shoot) First Look 1/1 Wemby Dutch auction went for? Started at $15K and bottom was $1.5K...

I'm impressed how he's very willing to take shots or go to the rim. Very excited to see him develop with the whole team.

Love seeing people get hyped over preseason games in a league where the players don’t give a #@#@#@#@ about regular season games.

If you watched those highlights and you didn’t get at least a little excited, then why bother watching basketball at all

What are we guessing for pre-order prices of Prizm? And how much of a discount will we get with confirmation of no Wemby autos?

Sorry if this was discussed earlier and if so tell me to turn and go find it. If not, is anyone concern about him staying healthy? There have been several his size that couldn’t handle the constant beating of an NBA season.
I collect mostly baseball and football, and have a few of his Allen & Ginter cards. I’m just a little hesitant about buying them due to his size and staying healthy.

Be interesting to see. I'm trying to recall what 19/20 Prizm hobby boxes went for at the peak of the Zion hype. Pretty sure those were at least $2000 at one point and maybe even $2500-$3K range. Can now be had for just over $1K.
I'm seeing 2020-21 hobby boxes around $1200 or so. 21-22 hobby around $900-$1K. And 22-23 hobby around $700. |

Yet I don't see dozens of rookies every pre-season scoring that much, blocking shots that much, handling the ball that well. Why is that? Are they missing shots on purpose? Don't they want to impress their coachs too much for fear they had more playing time comes regular season? Do they want their coaches to play them only garbage time as a spot shooter?

Yes, he is either not good enough, or opponents not good enough....

Because what most teams do that draft these generational talents, is they coddle them. They protect their investment. The Spurs aren't winning a title I'm the next 3 seasons or more. This isn't the 80s where guys will take him out physically all game. If he steps on someone's ankle that isn't due to his length. We've seen Steph, AD, Kawhi, Embiid and more start their careers with injury riddled seasons. They're kids. They don't have adult bodies yet.

Based on his highlights from one game or whatever, it looks like he could be top 10 right off the bat (MJ was in the top 5 in his rookie year I think, stats-wise, MVP-vote-wise was he 6th? he was 21 then, Wemby is two years younger).
Key will be health
