Lebron 2003 TC base PSA 10 price was ~$880 at the time this thread was created. If one had invested the same money (~$880) in Wiggins/KAT/Porzingis (all three) Prizm RC's, it is worth less than $100 today. $880 in Lebron TC PSA 10 is still worth $5000 today, which is ~5X ROI in 5 years despite the 80% drop from the pandemic peak. Lebron bag>>> Wiggins+KAT+Porzingis bag (all three combined), at least for now.

You're in a sports card forum for sports nerds. The people still hanging around here weren't buying cheap LeBron slabs at peak prices..... we were buying well before the pandemic pump and are still way ahead of the game.

Heck, a card I picked up for $20 back in 2016 just sold for $4300 two days ago. And I'm still not selling my copy, because it's part of my collection and I enjoy owning it.

Maybe there's a Supreme forum somewhere that you can find some hype beasts holding the bag on 2019 Prizm Base. Around here you're mostly going to find nerds who either own a nice collection they got in for way less than value today, or have already cashed in and won.

As long as LeBron's teams keep running around in the play in and then come up short in the Playoffs to any good teams, his stuff will still be affordable over the next couple of years.

But I do feel like a lot of his quality stuff will go wild.

He does have a ton of cards out there though. Anyone would if they piece together a 24 year NBA career at the elite level.

Unless he gets found out regarding his doping.

Interested to see how much the LeBron market falls this offseason. Pretty clear he’s not leading a team to another title. Going to have to title chase now, which will never be held in the same regards as Mike’s six rings. LeBron index is down 34% the last 12 months, and 64% the last 24 months. If we fall another 50%, we’ll be back to December 2019. That’s appropriate.
