The last time Desmond Ridder lost a home game as the starter—was in high school.

MUCH Better Performance from Ridder today and a HUGE W to start off 2-0.
After that interception he really played alot better especially when it mattered in the 2nd half.
Opened up the book more for him, ran the ball.
Just a Great performance from him overall and most importantly progression.
Hes looked better every game and his teammates you can tell really trust him now.
Some big throws and some really good plays out of the pocket and ran the ball for a TD and 40 yards as well.
Very impressive performance today.
Treading in the right direction.

I did not watch the entire game. The second drive (after the interception) gave me concern once they got into the red zone. I think ATL tried to pass on 3 of 4 plays and every throw was a poor decision or almost pick. Sounds like he calmed down later but the decision making on those throws was not reassuring. But a win is a win.

Almost only counts in horseshoes & hand grenades. That's like sayin if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. He almost threw a pick, but he didn't. And he led them to a win. He still has one career interception through 6 starts. If he throws a pick every 6 starts, I think coaches & fans will be perfectly happy with that

28/37 for 329 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions.

Maybe best of all, he was able to get the ball to London and Pitts 13 times.

Very impressed with Ridder's statement game. Hopefully for his career's sake he can continue this level of play. Also not sure why Jordan Love cards are still selling for way higher. IMO his status as a franchise starter is just as uncertain as Ridder's.

I think Ridder was playing tentatively and timidly and in the last game he just cut loose. He was faster with his throws and decisions. He needs to keep playing like that.
