Looks like salas spots are selling for around $400 per case. When I ran the EV for previous top guys (chourino for example) they came to around $11 per box. So a good baseline for comparison is chourino is worth Maybee $150 a case. How do you think salad will sell compared to him and extrapolate accordingly.

Salas may surface every 4-5 cases of hta, so the market is pricing the initial price of a base Salas auto at about $800 making a refractor auto $1500?

This will be brutal.

WBC cards are a miss for me. Can't stand the base 2023 Bowman design and the QC looks pretty bad. 2023 Finest World's Finest remain the king of WBC cards.

I haven’t run any numbers for this release yet but plugged a 800 base card in app for previous bowman chrome runs and it came to around $325 a case which actually isn’t horrible I guess for $400 spot.

However this is assuming 110 card checklist and assuming Salas base not SP. also doesn’t include new parallels etc. jsut throwing some figures out there so people can do with it what they want

I saw the same thing about Salas spot on eBay. He looks to be the only draw for the Padres spot, but I expect Padres spot in case breaks (non eBay) to be well north of $400.

Thanks, it’s still helpful as a guide for those of us who care to use it.

I’m not sure how people who get in to breaks utilize odds. If they realized the math, it would probably discourage them from doing so, especially those who are on a budget.

Prices are usually chopped in half within 1-2 months.

You can buy one now, or two for the same price during the off-season in a few months.

Right around now is what I like to call the 'best time to start looking at + buying the guys you like for next year's ST pump'. All the focus is now on this new Bowman class, young studs heading into the playoffs [Ronnie, Julio etc], and some older guys who are padding legacy stats with potential for playoff glory.

That’s insane. More people should know about that but I think people who are participating go in with the mindset that they will lose their entire buy in price for the “entertainment value” and “comraderie”. Anything that hits would be considered a bonus.
