Johnny Depp hired personal security and had them escort him to his estranged wife's apartment for preventive measures and...as witnesses. So yes, for the vast majority of cases, whether in public or private, Urias and his $14 million dollar contract could afford to hire someone to protect him, even from himself.

Some more details. It's not really clear. He may have hit her while they were in the car when it got heated again and was arrested. The other possibility was that he mouthed off to the police officers who told him to leave and was arrested for the original incident. I wonder what the original incident was about. Did he actually shove her into the fence with the intent to harm her or was there some altercation with another group they were involved with? Also, where was TMZ at, they usually get this stuff?

The Dodgers have nothing to gain from releasing him. Plus, the union could potentially file a grievance with the team should they not allow the bargained process play out.

They've been here before, so expect them to play by the rules.

The union would file a grievance. It's the same thing with Bauer where the situation plays out, there's a suspension and the Dodgers recoup funds they don't have to pay during the suspension.
