1993 Finest Baseball Box

I’ve been away for a bit due to life changes but have had my eye on this product for a while!

That is a nice vintage hockey pack!

I don't think too many people saved early vintage hockey packs/boxes. Even back in 90s, it was expensive and hard to find early70s hockey packs/boxes.

Realizes....but the top card on that box is
Not always the same player. His has Jeff
Montgomery on top (mine does too) but
They all seem to have different players showing.

I'm not sure how many box options they had....does
Anyone know?

I noticed that also as I seen a few different players 4+ on EBay alone (Buhner, Trammel etc). I also was hesitant as the wrap can easily be tampered with a new covering as it doesn’t have a Topps logo. But the small hole on the front of the wrap was found and visible and is one of the characteristic details that it’s original.

That Finest boxes is sweet. Not sure how many folks here are/were members of Freedom Cardboard, but I think George Calfas from over there had at least one unopened case of 1993 Finest in his collection

Yeah, for the longest time, that was the 90s board. I was a member on CU for a long time too, and we did a group pack-out of a 93 Finest box. That was fun!

The self control part can be learned, and quickly. All you have to do is spend $500 on 3 different boxes - the juiciest ones you can find. Then, open all 3, and see if you get at least $1500 worth of singles out of your $1500 investment.

When you don’t, you’ll never open another box again! Now you’re ready to start spending $5,000 per box that you wouldn’t dare bust, and start making money with Wax - problem solved !

I know for 1994 football and 1995 baseball it was the entire set. Not sure if the 93 all stars have boxes. I am almost sure they did.

Experts - do sealed sets that include random inserts (parallels, autos, mem, etc) belong in this thread since not all cards contained are known?

To me if it's sealed with unknown contents, that's the key. So a factory set with 5 random foils would count. But I will respectfully disagree that a sealed factory set with nothing extra than the known base cards would qualify.

These are awesome! Collected most of what you have here, when I 1st started collecting sealed - anything and everything ‘back in the day’ . Since there is no Thread currently for “share your Sets” - this would be a great 1st post for a Thread that you start - what do you say ? It would really complement this Wax Thread, and give an avenue to see some really great items not posted here ….

Been thinking about picking up some of the 90s early 00s boxes with some of the more popular inserts from the time. Just bought my first one 1999 Fleer Brilliants with the 24k parallels.
