Bummed I missed out on it. In hindsight, it would have gone together great with the P70 run.

America has decided it cannot get enough Dock Ellis art cards. Two more that are essentially gone.

No pump here, I missed out on these as well.

I've got the full run of Dock Ellis from P70 and the P100 Elbo. Does this mean I can finally retire off of my Project cards like I planned?

Yeah, you might as well head on in to work today and go straight to HR and file the retirement paperwork.

Do you have the Dock Ellis Pop Fly print as well? That would be quite a display with all the Project cards.

Wow, that's a lot of bad Deion cards. Rochester, Saladeen/Horine, and Naturel are all good though. Naturel probably did it better.

Remember when Saladeen was busted stealing Horine's Mantle artwork? That was funny.

Got a few good deals on project cards lately.
Picked up a shore x jazz rainbow foil for $42 plus tax.
Picked up a Lauren Martin x petey zo deluxe /100 for like $25.
I also picked up what I thought was a artist signed Chang x Lou Bob, got it for $12.50 which I thought was a steal. Was looking at it, and it in fact player signed and becket witnessed. So score there as well.

Nice pickups and congrats on the pleasant surprise!

Anyone else have any recent Project pickups? Nothing too recent for me. I've been blowing my limited hobby funds on Pop Fly prints for a while. I believe my last Project pickup was a sealed deluxe box Gunnar by our friend Louis Wes a couple months ago. Got it for $58 plus tax which I thought was a steal of a deal.

I dunno. Project 100 seemed pretty lethargic. It took almost a year to do 100 cards and even the really avid art card people I know didn't seem to care.

I've also noticed that the inserts in things like Chrome have artist driven sets. I wonder if that's where they will move the focus.

At this stage in the game, two 25 card SZN's is probably the sweet spot as far as quality output and maintaning interest. One SZN during each half of the baseball regular season (five artists, five cards, etc). That way cards arent released in December when nobody except Silas and I care and we don't have to live through an artist roster like P100 SZN1 again.
