If you want an honest opinion I'm not impressed with the chiefs receivers this year.

It really looks to me like Moore will be a big part of the Chiefs offense, especially early on before Toney is back to 100% and while Rice learns the system.

That being said, I'm not sure the type of numbers that means. It could mean 2 screens, 2 carries, and 6 mid range targets a game, resulting in 5-6 catches and 60 or so total yards. But I'm pretty confident that he's going to be part of the game plan early... it's just a matter of how well he actually performs that's the bigger mystery.

I drafted him over George Pickens in Dynasty. In other news, I'm an idiot. There were reasons to like him coming in, but not a lot of guys have found success in the NFL after posting the rookie year stats he did. There are always exceptions, but statistically he's unlikely to be a star. Hopefully for both of us he's an exception.

Lot of cards being recycled in the big auctions right now. This will continue in perpetuity unless we get a better mix of owners or prices fall enough that there’s upside appeal again.

You would think that the diagonal autograph and the fact that there’s no reference to the autograph, being authentic on the back of the card would be sufficient... Can’t believe that got past BGS.

It took me awhile to figure out what was wrong. Looks like a signature was added to the Bronze parallel of the base (non auto) card? Any idea if the signature is real or is it forged?

The auto is 100% authentic, that's not the issue.

The issue is that it's not the factory released "rookie autographs" that the label says with a numerical card grade 9.

At best it's an Authentic Auto 10.

And I'm not counting rookies and second year guys, because the hobby will always have folks pouring money into young players in hopes of finding the next big thing (think of 2014 with Winston and Mariota).

After Mahomes, you have:
-Allen
-Burrow
-Herbert
-Hurts
-Lawrence
-Fields?
-Tua?
-Watson?
-Lamar?

I put questions marks around the last 3 because I feel like collectors are either not all in yet, or have started to fade these guys... but there is still some hopeful money into them.

Regardless, my point is that all of these guys can't make it in the long run. There just aren't enough SB and MVP trophies to go around for every one of these guys to hold up in the hobby. Eventually, most of them will end up falling into Matthew Stafford or Phillip Rivers land and there will be less options to split up the hobby's money into.

We've already seen it with guys like Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, and Mac Jones being basically dead in the hobby water. I just think we got a pretty talented run of QBs from 2017-2021, and it just cant work out for them all.

Nearly all of these quarterbacks are in the first year of a huge new contract (or about to get one, like Burrow). Fan bases should be very happy if their QB ends up being Philip Rivers or Matthew Stafford, though we know the hobby will punish them. The rubber will hit the road for those teams when 20% of the cap is tied up in 1 player and they can't keep all their other superstars. Mahomes has clearly been the exception to the rule thus far. I expect we will see a lot of shake-up in this list over the coming years. Interestingly enough, Jalen Hurts could have the most upside being in the NFC. The AFC is just brutal... I would place my bets on the GMs with the best drafting records (e.g., Howie Roseman and Brett Veach).
