Default Lebron James 03-04 Topps Complete set RC way off center value?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if any of you have seen a Lebron from a 03-04 Complete set this far off center. I opened a set that I had to see what the condition of the big 4 rookies was like and all 4 look like this. The last 5 or 6 cards in the set look like this and the rest of the set is all normal. Do you think this adds any value or takes away from the value? I know there is a small niche group for cards errors, miscuts, or off center. I don't know if there are certain parameters though that the card has to meet. Would it have to be further off center to be worth more? How bad does the centering hurt the value if it doesn't add value? Any advice would be appreciated. Don't get me wrong I know I am not rich no matter what but just curious. Thanks Chris

I dont think there is any error value. It's just a bad OC version and would be worth a lot less than a NM copy. Only possiblilty I see is it grading low and appealing to collectors of his RC in every PSA grade.

Thanks for the information and I thought about that as well about the grading it and someone being interested in it because they want one from every grade. I guess we will see. I don't see sending it in anytime soon I don't think.

Yeah, I doubt it would add any value, most likely quite the opposite. Most of the factory set ones are fairly centered, so seeing this one this far off is an anomaly from my experience.

Unfortunately you just have a diamond cut card. Most likely detracts from value rather than adding to it.

There's a huge diff between a gradable error and a miscut, in my mind. But you gotta study stamps and other collectibles for cues on what's gonna be worth a million and what is worth less than a PSA 5. Cause the basketball community is just beginning to sort that out.

CSG did acknowledge the Kobe silver foil rookie error and that's probably because they are part of a diversified grading company that understands these distinctions and how sought-after errors work, over time. In baseball, Frank Thomas must be one of the highest value base cards of the junk wax era.

Thanks for all the information, everyone. I didn't think it was worth more and assumed it was definitely worth less but wanted to share and ask at the same time. Thanks
