You're absolutely right about most of them being off brand lol but as long as somebody is willing to buy it then I'm willing to sell it! I haven't had any huge scores from bin stores but I did buy some HP Ink that was sealed for $8 and sold it less than a day later for $135, found a Dept 56 Grinch display village for $7 that sold for $100 and a few other nice quick flips. I think the bin stores are great for somebody like me who's just doing it as a small side hustle but for people who are trying to make real money then you have to get really lucky at them.

Dumb question. What’s a bin store? I am not familiar or maybe just not familiar with the term.

It's a store that buys truckloads of return/damage/mislabled/misshipped items from Target/Kohls/Amazon etc. and then they just sell every item for one set price (the one I frequent is $8 on Friday, $6 on Saturday, $4 on Sunday, $2 on Monday, $1 on Tuesday, 50 cents on Weds and then they're closed on Thursday to restock). Some of them have the more obviously expensive items at roughly half of MSRP give or take but the majority of them just sell anything and everything at one set price. They're called Bin stores because they literally just have all the merchandise dumped into a bunch of different bins and you dig through everything. If you go to youtube and search Bin store there's a bunch of videos of people shopping at them so you can get a better idea. I find them to be a ton of fun personally.

Thanks for the explanation. I see people selling this type of stuff from their homes occasionally but we dont have any bin stores where I live.

I go in from time to time but not regular stop. On Friday and Saturdays I would rather be out garage saling.

I love bin stores, but sadly, my favorite bin store changed courses and got greedy and started picking out stuff to sell on ebay. They originally said when they opened that they would not do that. I understand needing to making money but don't go back on your word. They still sell Amazon returns for $3+ but it is stuff you can't make money off of. Plus food that is expired or close to being expired. I used to find so much good stuff there and miss going there. It was great during the fall/winter/early spring when there were no garage sales. There are 3 more bin stores here, one is a little shady and in a bad part of town, they have good stuff but it's $12 an item and the other one is $15 and has good stuff but if it's broken it's not like you can take it back and $15 adds up. The other one is pretty much all target salvage and is fun to go on half off day.

Bought the garage on lat day of a local estate sale. The guy owned a tackle shop in the 80s despite it being heavily picked. When all is said and done should make a very nice profit

Just had the best weekend I have had in probably a year. So many things at amazing prices it is hard to remember it all. Items I bought included: 2 rock band dongles for the Fender guitar, 3 pairs of brand new in the box work shoes/boots for $2 each including one being Red Wing, 3 pairs of brand new in the box womens shoes for $2 each including one pair that retailed for $179, new old stock Skil power tool, new old stock multi purpose non-stick cooker that sells used for $50 (no new sealed ones listed or sold), a couple rare NASCAR die cast that go for $50-$75 each, a high quality Titleist backpack that will go for $40-60, a Pelican case backpack, a Sony Walkman, a Sony DVD/VCR combo, and numerous video games. I know I am leaving some other stuff out, just hard to remember it all. The dongles alone are going to pay for everything listed here. What was also odd was that there weren't many sales this weekend. Went to maybe like 10-15 of them. Yet I was finding stuff at nearly every sale and there didn't seem to be as many people out this weekend for some reason. I have had bigger individual scores on one item over the last year or two but for consistent merchandise this was the best for sure.

I do have something else I got recently that I would like to post a picture of but haven't posted pics in a long time, not since photobucket was around. I have looked at a few different photo sites people use and I am thinking about using imgbb. Is this site free and does it work well? I don't want to do instragram.

Here is the other item I recently picked up. It is from the 90s and after doing some research when I got home I found out it is a Jeff Hamilton which apparently is a famous fashion designer. I see many different types of these logo coats on ebay but can't find my specific one. Personally think this one is the best looking of any of them I see, but of course I am biased. Not sure what I am going to do with it. I did buy it with the intention to resell but I think for now I am going to hold onto it. Maybe once I get my collection displayed I can somehow incorporate it.

Jeff Hamilton has a huge following, his stuff moves fast.

Anybody have any idea what this is. I tried Google lens but couldn’t really come across anything. Looks like something inserts into the hole and maybe it gets heated up? Maybe those copper rods conduct heat into this device I have absolutely no idea.

It appears to have something to do with slides?

Yeah it came with some lens stuff, I think it might be medical related for slides? Not sure, wasn't sure if someone on here had seen something like it before. Thanks guys.

I am far from a star wars expert but after a quick ebay search I don't get it. Would you elaborate?
