Default Which would you rather have? 90s style

Working on a potential trade and was trying to get a consensus. I want to weigh both what is the cooler card, while also considering long term value. Either way, I plan to hold either one of these cards whether I make the trade of not.

Currently, I have this Kobe:

I would be receiving this Vince Carter:

Curious to hear the opinions of some of you all!

Id probably keep the Kobe. It is an $800-900 card. Id want another $100-200 in value plus the Vince card to even think about a trade.

For me I’d keep the Kobe, just hard to compare any other player to him.

VC and here's why. Since it seems you are familiar with PSA,
then you might be inclined to regrade the Fusion with PSA. Newer TPGs do not get the nuances of certain 90s cards, and the manufacturing defects that are all part of the game with respect to condition. It is quite possible the Carter could be a 10 in PSAs eyes.
Back in 2015, the Carter was the better card, and I believe by 2030 that will ring true again. Takeit2.net don't have the same aesthetics of a laser cut limited print card from the same year.

P.s. I have that kobe in my collection so I am being open.

I'd rather have the Vince - sell value be damned. Also, I would crack it out of the CSG case, leave it in a top loader.

I'd rather have the Vince.

Rookie year
Lower print-run
Better insert

Vince, but has nothing to do with regrade potential or value.

I’ve just never liked the photo on the Kobe and it’s also 4 times as common

^ +1 on the take above, even though I like the Kobe card too.
I like the VC card just a little more, regardless of the print runs for both cards.

I like the Vince insert set more, but I like Kobe the player better.

Kobe will stand the test of time better.

As much as I have always liked the takeit2.net set (the MJ in it is a grail card), I'd make the trade and get the VC just because how many other opportunities will you be able to get your hands on that Fusion....and not like Vince is some slouch. Tough call, I guess.
