Has he been traded for Ben Simmons yet?

Who will end up on more All-Star teams?

Checking in here for the first time in a long time.

Sold 90% of my Zion bass COVID-hype Premium Stock Prizm rookies in the spring.

Still holding on to the rare stuff because I’m a sucker for the chunky boy. I’ll still be tuning in this season if he’s healthy and playing.

My body is ready for another broken heart

Am I stupid? Obviously

But picking up Zions for pennies on the dollar is my new favorite hobby

Worst case I stash them for my kid

I can’t help myself. You want to sell me a Prizm PSA 10 for $50? A Mosaic PSA 10 for $20?

Where are you getting the Prizms for $50? I see them in the $60-70 range on eBay. Even that's a potential bargain though.

He's still an MVP-caliber player when he's on the court and he's still young. The ship hasn't sailed on him yet.

Exactly how I felt about Ben Simmons.

Amazing both #1 picks who can't stay healthy and seemingly don't want to play.

I bought a bunch on Facebook. I think I’m up to 6 or 7. Save those fees apparently

I just bought the $70 lot I described today at lunch

Yep… and it could absolutely backfire

But paying say $500 for 10-15 various PSA 10’s (which is just what I collect) is an all day investment for me

If I lose it? That sucks. My kid will love them

Worth the try

He's an absolute train wreck with zero self-discipline that never sees the floor. But when he does see the floor, it's unquestionably magical.

His low/mid end prices have softened(free falled) enough that it's worth a couple shekels for the joyride.

Zion Prizm silver PSA 10s still selling consistently for $600+ shows there's a little weight in the 248 yet.

F to anyone who bought at the peak though

I hope he posterizes Wemba and Britney Spears is sitting courtside to watch it.

When you make the same joke in multiple threads it doesn’t work

Simmons and Zion.

Good point above.

Both injured frequently and both head cases.

I don't think Zion is a head-case. I think he's only known basketball and his mama's home-cooking, and one thing lead to another for a country boy. It's also known that he's big-boned as well as a break-dancer on the court. Both of which have their side effects.

Simmons, on the other hand, has also only known basketball but maybe he was forced by his parents to move to America to play... (hypothetically speaking, just saying we don't know everything ab these guys, do we?) and when reaching the pros he became indifferent somehow and it became just a job.

Those are my leading theories anyway.

Remember when he had to leave the bubble for "family reasons" but nobody's ever heard what those reasons were?

The real secret is that it is 'just a job' for the majority of these guys.

Instead of stamping widgets they're bricking 3s.

That’s only a secret to the fans who haven’t been paying attention the last few years. Paydays keep rising even though the effort level keeps falling.
