This is surprising that they haven’t been able to “keep up” with the changes in the hobby after 2-3 years. You would think with somewhat dwindling business/market share, secondary market value, they’d make strides in the right direction, but it’s like 1 step forward , 2 steps back.

USPS arrived on 6/20.
BGS acknowledged 6/21.
Email from BGS says the business day turnaround clock starts tomorrow.

At least it didnt sit too long in a mail room.

I really hope that’s not the case with the clock starting once a job ID is created because it took them roughly 2 months after receipt to create a job ID. However, the order was invoiced and marked as received/acknowledged on 3/23. My understanding was that they always went by the received date.

The email that goes out after they receive your order states that the countdown starts the day after the email is received no matter when the Job ID is created....that's what they say anyways

Killed it on my BAS order.... 5/6 that I graded hit Gem Mint 9.5's (as expected). Monster grades on great signed cards, will post pics when they arrive. One thing that does chap my ass is 3/11 auto grades came back a 9, WHEN THEY ARE PERFECT. I hate auto grades, I'm done with them lol. Only started doing them for some resale bump but they're all over the place right now.

Also my PSA dual value order that I mailed the same day is still sitting in research with no end in sight. So BAS is significantly faster then PSA Dual Value right now.

Hi all, just curious when you experience a long delay and no response from their reps, do any of you decide to submit a complaint with BBB? I did that once where I submitted 2 cards for standard grading service back in October 2022 and didn’t get acknowledgment until late February of 2023. They called me also asked that I remove the BBB complaint. I finally received the graded cards back in mid March 2023. I mean if there’s enough BBB complaints out there maybe that will push them a bit to improve their turnaround time. Thoughts?

Received Date under orders is 3/21

Ah gotcha, that's strange that usually happens same day I think.

Default Beckett Black Label Issue

When I received the grades in my email I was pleasantly surprised...but when I opened the package....this is what I found. Any suggestions on how to address this with Beckett? I've emailed them twice and they haven't responded.

Well I mean you can give it a nice swing and shake to put it in position, no? Wont hurt the card like it would do a bit in PSA Slab when making it aggressively

I have 1 slab (out of a couple hundred) that does that. I usually just tap it back into place.

Conversely you could contact Beckett and I'm sure they'll re-slab it for free.

Just tried tapping it back into place and it worked...my only concern is that it isn't very secure if it's tapped around so easily...but thank you for the help...I thought it was sealed in the position shown in the photograph.

message them via instagram or call your rep on the website and they will take care of it for free

First sub to BGS in a couple years. I have a priority level service order that arrived today, does anyone have a sense of when I should receive the confirmation email that they received it?

Depending on what you selected on the submission form, altered, counterfeit, minimum size, minimum grade, graded authentic are all possibilities for the zero grade.
Based on what you've shared, these don't seem to apply but failed crossovers/grade bumps could also produce a zero grade.
