Bowman pitching BCA PSA10 is also getting offers at 16k. The funny thing is that nobody is willing to sell at that price, including me. Far more condition than the batting, and it came first.

That is the thing about Ohtani. With him not slowing down, his prices could double bay the end of the year. Half way to 62 before the All-star break. Guys, we could see history made one year later. It is like Shohei not winning the MVP last year he is saying HOLD MY BEER!,

Nah, pass. Novelty/gimmick card with way too many parallels. I think between Topps and Bowman Tek, there are 9 base parallels, and who knows how many different patterns and colors.

Also, if you buy a raw, hoping for a PSA 10 flip, you can forget about it. Surface conditions are a big issue.

What is the reason for that? Im just amazed by the sales. Can this potentially go up to $100.00 in the future?

Absolutely. When Bowman Chrome PSA 10's dry up (and they will), clecters/investors are going to turn to the next best chrome card, Topps Chrome and bid those things up to the moon.

When both Bowman and TC PSA 10's dry up, then they'll set their sights on base PSA 10 Optic and base PSA 10 Prizm just to get their shiny chrome fix.

Anyone who wants to buy something but is afraid of a post 2021 price drop, pay the extra and get something with a known SP <1,000 PR or a serial #d. That is more important than grade.

The circumstances are different from the 2021 post-pandemic shift, but nothing is immune to a pullback. Just like the stock market, you need to own the blue chips to ensure you feel it less.

Agree. Everyone should collect what they want and buy within means, of course. But if you want something that will hold value and/or grow more, this is good advice. Maybe even a bit higher on the PR for certain cards.

If you're trying to spend $1K on a Bowman Chrome PSA 10 base, I'd say there are some wonderful SPs and serial #d in that range

Some of my best cards are 9s but I hide them so people don't make fun of me .

People are still finding trout US175 base at their mom's house and getting gems. The bass lake is fertile.

The Ohtani price jumps right now on mid/low end stuff is wild. I have a couple high end I won't move (yet), but tempted to move my 2017 Mega BGS 9.5. Anyone know the print run on those? I got mine last summer for $550 and it's hitting 1200 now, which is wild. Seems like a card that can't keep climbing unless it's more rare than I think.
