I know I’ve seen this answered somewhere but can a collectors club special be shipped after the end date as long as it was entered on the site before the special ended?

This is actually why I rarely use group submitters for PSA anymore - because I wanted control of my upcharges instead of paying more for possibly no additional value.

Bit of everything. Accepted a third, declined a third and disputed a third. Basically, I accepted what I felt was fair, disputed what I thought was overcharged [mostly BC of prospects who aren't performing and dropped in value, provided sales data to justify], and declined the ones that had no added value in paying an upcharge [generally anything that's not a 10]. Most of the guys get it and probably know what's going on. I had one guy not understand at all and I had to spend 20-30 minutes explaining my thought process on the phone. But for someone to not respond within a day or two is very unusual, let alone two weeks.

Yes. The date they must receive it by is on the top of the submission form. I think it’s 30 days after you enter the order.

Well, my TCG Special's long time in QA2 now makes sense - got the "we screwed up two of your cards" email.

A 6 and a 7 both became 4s. Honestly, these are cards from when I was a kid, so it's a wonder that I didn't turn them into 4s myself already. Oh well. Crediting me back the grading cost on these two plus very fair (IMO) market values.

Haven't checked in on this thread in awhile and wow, have things taken a bad turn for PSA. Came to check in on how things were going as I do have about 15 cards I went to send in for the 90's+ sports special. None of these are cards I need to have back right away. Probably about ten of them are PC cards. So I will lower my expectations.

I have changed my focus to collections 1950's and early 60's vintage baseball. I sent some vintage cards in for a friend at the beginning of the year and it took about 90 days to get them back. By the looks of it, vintage is going to take about 6 months now. No thanks. Decided to send my vintage cards to SGC.

15 card Star Wars special grades just popped and I am very pleased. 7 of 9 gems on the Ultra Modern. 2 9s)

1983 Nellbas all 6-8. I thought a few could have been higher as these are beautiful cards, but overall happy.
1977 Golden Rod Error C-3PO -- 6 Pleased with that.

Big push from PSA this week. All three orders (submitted weeks apart) have moved through grading and assembly, and two of the three have been shipped.

Anyone else having issues with the PSA submission portal? Entering card descriptions doesn’t want to populate.

Yes, not working on any browser here. Would like to get a sub done on the last day...

ha, yes, I had to hand type every card in, although afterwards I noticed like 5 of 56 cards had populated with the PSA ID #

Luckily had several duplicates so it didnt take too long. I didnt so much procrastinate but opened 4 cello boxes and one wax box of 1991 Fleer BSKB. It was a lot to pick through because i wanted to submit anyone from the dream team, not just MJ's. Probably silly because even w/ 10's they're barely worth the $15 grading fee but it is part experiment and part challenge. Opened a ton of other junk wax too...1991 OPC baseball and Hockey, 1990 topps baseball, 1991 UD bskb...finding gems is ridiculously hard!

Pretty surprised to see both of these hit grading yesterday. Submission volume must have fallen off a cliff at the end of the month.

Last sub was Feb. this year got hammered @ 113 cards $19/card holding off till next year to submit again, how is New Jersey facility doing? The damaging of cards is definitely a big turnoff.

Yeah, it's hard to understand the wild swings when regular and value are taking 2 weeks one month and then you bank on that and sub more and then they're 6 weeks+. Most aggravating company in the world! But my how we love them.

I just had a 85 card TCG order arrive yesterday and quality control was some of the worst I've ever seen. It was the first order I've ever had come back from New Jersey. My grades were great, but 12 cards had thumbprints on the card edges, 1 had severe scratches on the back of the case, about 6 had some sticky goo substance on the case, and about 20 more had the white scuffs marks on the cases I'm going to have to try and polish myself.

I'm going to reach out Monday to see how best to send the thumbprint cards and one with the severe scratches on the case. (I've done the CRC quality request route before, just never had this many with issues so wasn't sure if it was a different workflow and wanted to voice my frustration)

Does the package show up as arrived when you check the tracking on the PSA website?

It does, but my last one did as well until I got an email that the package was delivered empty.
