Ha, thanks, fair enough. Given the various historic factoids on this one - first for the Reds in decades, fifth-youngest ever to hit one, third ever to do it in his first 15 games, 27th (?) rookie to do it... I suspect they'll want to use the back for a blurb.

Reds young sensation, Elly De La Cruz became the youngest player to hit for the cycle in 51 years. De La Cruz doubled to open the second inning, had a two-run homer in the third, a run-scoring single to center in the fifth and tripled in the sixth for his fourth RBI of the night. The NL Central leading Reds are currently winners of 12 straight- their longest winning streak since 1957.

We are offering a base relic from third base from the 6th inning triple that sealed the cycle for Elly De La Cruz. Instead of offering these for sale in specific parallel levels (199, /99, /49, /25, /10, /5, /1), we are going to combine all the parallels together to create a one-card pack. The cards will be encased as they always are but will be wrapped in an opaque foil.

Like the other cards this year, members will be allowed to reserve one of these one-card packs.

picked up one of these Cycle relics and I actually got 2 of his 1st home run relics

on a side note is it me or is the Game used relics alot more cooler and should be more valuable than an auto? he is going to have 100,00 autographs by the time his career is over but these relics are in a limited supply and seem cooler to own as they are a part of the game

I've always liked Goldy, even after he extended to stay with them, so I have nothing against his base relic.

Given the outcome, though, you'd think the least they could've done was do a Cubs team base relic card if they couldn't get Cubs autos.
