1999-00 Topps Gold Label Red Labels on the bay

I noticed the red label Kukoc class 2 /50 and class 3 /25 popped up on ebay. Crazy rare cards. There are MANY listed on the bay and no pictures of the backs that I have seen. I read the description and these cards are NOT serial numbered. the title of the auctions does NOT state that they are unnumbered and are being sold as lots which I am guessing to bypass authentication. Not saying the seller is in the wrong but it is easy to get blinded by their beauty LOL!

Yes, see this recent thread as well. Seller is listing as lots to bypass authentication. Please make sure you correctly spell out the seller’s name in the thread for ease of searching in the future.

Perfect - I had tried searching the name yesterday and nothing popped up in the BO archives, though I know the search function here isn’t the best either.

How this seller is still allowed on eBay after pulling this same crap over and over again is beyond me.

I found a Charles Barkley Gold Label Red /100 today while looking through old cards. I don't see many of these cards on eBay but the ones listed are tagged with "Authenticity Guaranteed". As a card noob, can someone tell me what this means? Is there a process I should take to get this card authenticated.

I almost bid on some Reggie Miller cards this guy had until I saw that they weren't numbered.

Gazzwold- the ones on eBay with authenticty guaranteed. That is a service that eBay provides for cards over a certain value. They go to an authenticator first and then get shipped to the buyer.

You can send your Barkley card into a grading service if you want. This will guarantee authenticity and they can also put a number grade on it. The scale is 1 to 10. If you don't want a number grade, you can just have the card graded authentic.

Nice card by the way.

Yep. They blocked me over a year ago when I asked if a certain low feedback, 100% bid activity account was going to be blocked from future listings after it had substantially bid up several listings. When they put up the next set the following week, the mysterious bidder was gone, despite not winning the same cards the previous week and many ending much lower. Strange.

They also used the same picture for all listings of their stash of backdoored cards, evade authentication as others have mentioned, etc.
