as much as Gobert catches flack every season, he seems to put in the work. Most Euro dudes are back home for most or all offseason. KAT notably absent...

After absorbing a lot of rumor mill smoke all day here's my rough %'s for 'dude is gone':

Zion ~80%
Dame~70%
Harden~50%
SpicyP~40%
KAT~30%
Draymond~30%

This doesn't include guys like Porzingis, since Wiz FO has already begun a rebuild you can pretty much assume Kuzma and KP will be ending up elsewhere.

[Grange] Per league sources, Poeltl is expecting a deal with a starting salary of $20 million range, or an average of. And given Trent Jr. would be declining an option worth $18.5 million, he’s not going to come cheap either.
Honestly have no idea how it shakes out in Toronto. Other than I think Barnes [obvi] and OG will be there.

Are we assuming Kyrie is going to resign with Mavs. He is going to want like a four year or 3 with a player option. Mavs willing to drink that poison? Or is Kyrie waiting to see how things shake out in the LA teams? Somewhere else?

Haven't heard or seen anything about him. Pretty sure he and Mavs are stuck with each other, unless some team with some cap loses out on Dame, CP3, and FVV.

It's crazy to me that Toronto had pretty much a 170M team last season and they couldn't even make the playoffs.

there's no other option for mavs. You can't lose him after giving dinwiddie, finnie smith and 3 picks. Sign him at whatever and then decide.
Wouldn't surprise me if they do a sign and trade with miami.
Those 2 franchises always help each other thru the years.

Indiana would make a lot of sense for Draymond if he were to leave... Would help them hit that next level into playoff team and give them some toughness and playmaking.

Haliburton-Mathurin-Hield-Draymond-Turner. Its a really easy fit since Turner can shoot.

Still have depth with Nembhard-McConnell-J Smith-Nesmith-Duarte on the bench. Can attach a pick to Theis and ship him to Washington open up a bit more cap space. Can even frontload Draymond's contract so they don't have issues later when Hali and Mathurin need to get paid.

The Mavs should try their hardest to get someone else.

They need a legit big so badly.

Bullock is owed less next season if a team wants to waive him. Bertans owed less the season after.

What a crap show. Hopefully they can get some quality around Luka otherwise that trade along with losing Brunson has set them back 5 years and probably sees Luka walk. He just has to if next season doesn't go well.

Good thing for the Mavs is they potentially have half the roster coming off the books.

I don't agree with many on here. Keep Kyrie. He was damn good when he was on the floor last year with no apparent on or off the floor issues.

Why make the same mistake you did with Brunson?

You're just going to keep sifting through talented guards trying to find a perfect fit that'll never come. The issue is getting Luka to shift his game to establish positive synergy with a talented secondary scorer/shot creator. That's on the coaching staff and Luka himself.

Sorry, why would you want Nesmith on the bench when he is 10 years younger than Draymond and getting to be as good defensively? Draymond would be a great second team addition alongside McConnel and Nembhard. Of course salary dictates...

And Duarte? I believe the Pacers need to open space. He is not moving upward on the team. Wizards actually sounds right. I guess Jordan Nwora and Oshae Brissett will continue to improve be secondary anchors.

They of course need to keep Kyrie if they can't do any better.

Right now, Nesmith needs to be on the second unit. He started out of necessity last season. He's improving and is going to be very good, but he needs some more seasoning to get to a higher level.

Draymond was in 99th percentile on DEPM, Nesmith was in 32nd. Find a new slant.

Lol - that reminds me of Colangelo. “That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.”

Portland seems to be throwing names against the wall to try and appease Dame. They just need to break down and trade him.

It's exactly what they're doing so they can go to his camp and be like "well, we tried". We saw the same thing when Bkln FO was trying to get Ant+KAT plus 4 1sts from Minny for KD. It's a publicity stunt.

[Haynes] Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. will opt into his $18.5 million player option for the 2023-24 season, CEO Rich Paul and agent Lucas Newton of Klutch Sports tells @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.
interesting development. Either his agent tested the market and was disappointed, or GTJ has a handshake deal that he'll be extended and then traded, or he was really impressed with and/or guaranteed to not be benched again by the new coach and is expecting an extension offer from Masai.

Portland successfully trading for Bam is about as likely as me dating a supermodel. I mean it’s not zero percent.

Now that the Wizards have some cap space, I expect them to resign Kuzma and then S&T him. Most teams would only be able to acquire him via sign and trade anyways.

Granted, Damian Lillard has more of a chance of dating a supermodel than any of us.

I'm curious to see what that significant offer is
They could offer nurkic, jerami grant and 3 1st round picks and still miami wont be interested.
