Glove will be his issue but I’m sure pirates will DH him or put him in Right most nights.

Thank goodness. I've gotten more begging for a lower price on Henry Davis cards than all other cards combined. I even had one today after his callup looking for a 30% discount on a card that had a recent sale for more than I had it listed and was the cheapest available by a mile.

I really think people are sleeping on his bat. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more pop from him after the call up due to higher velocity in the bigs.

I've pretty much been the high guy on Davis since he was drafted, so I'm with you. I think the move off catcher is a plus for his hobby status if it's permanent. I'm thinking maybe a healthy, full time Mike Napoli is in play here.

This totally irritates me as well.

I’m all for throwing out low offers on stuff I’m selling, but when the card is the lowest priced card available and priced comparably to recently completed sales, and someone’s throwing out asinine offers…I don’t even take the time to decline or counter.

Yep. I don't think he ends up a star, but he's pretty obviously ready for an extended MLB look. His 2023 Bowman stuff (#'d non-auto, specifically) has been pretty cheap. Susac too. Playing for 110 loss team really hurts. Between those two and Soderstrom the A's have some guys who should get a nice bump when they move to Vegas in 2027.
