I do free shipping but only live 4 hours from where they ship from so I usually get them pretty quickly.

To update my previous post…I opened the cards that arrived Friday and had no parallels in that one either so now 0-10. I didn’t expect any from Luke, Vader, and Fett but to not hit any from the 10XX PR’s is crazy.

The way Topps does the discounts for bulk purchases makes it cheaper to buy in the aftermarket if you only buy 1 of each card.

It seems odd that they create this system where you buy something from them and then login to Ebay to see it is instantly worth less than you paid.

I was thinking of doing multiples so that I could maximize the chance of a good grade for each card, but I don't think these will be collectable enough to justify grading anyway.

I bought 20x of Luke and R2 and nothing. I stopped after realizing this was a 20 card set and didn't want to go THAT heavy and having to move 19 sets later on to just get some cash back.


I really don't get these 1 card a day things too often, so I'd never heard of them shipping parallels later?

They used to ship parallels with the base but the last time they did this - the nycc exclusive sets - they were not included and sent separately

When Topps released MLS Now cards this year, the first few cards did not have parallels included. Once enough people called Topps out about this, Topps randomly sent the parallels to buyers.

Wonder if we have a similar situation on the first few cards from this release?

I dunno, but some people got the entire set in one swoop. Somebody posted a picture where they got the full set in one package, like a week ago.

I got shipping confirmation for 11-14 and 19 & 20 yesterday but not 15-18. Weird. I should have those tomorrow, hopefully this batch is New & Improved…Now with Parallels!

This was me. When did the people who ordered Vader get theirs? I got this parallel along with the base I ordered all at the same time but it didn't come until today.

My cards 1,2 arrived after 14 other cards, and included a parallel /40 for the r2 card.

I am missing 11,12,13,14 so I am hopeful that as with 1,2 late means parallel.

I now have all this collection. I like most of the cards, but some are bad quality photos that are low res (Nien Nunb and Mon Motha) and some have bad lighting.

I only ordered one of each so just got one R2 parallel. I wish I had got five of each now as I think these will sell well, and that would help pay for my plan to get every card in a parallel.

There are not many parallels listed on Ebay, what are some good ways to build a parallel collection?

The Rancor #19 Red Foil Parallel /10 sold on Ebay for $90. This makes me think two things:

1. It would have paid off to have bought 5x every card from Topps
2. It would cost at least $2,000 to get all the cards in parallels, so I will probably not aim for that after all!

Unless I'm using bad search terms the whole set doesn't seem to be selling for much on eBay. $99 for a set last sold. Losing money unless you hit a parallel or two.
