This is the first time they have had them in the mystery box format. Previously the Artist Series were available for signings where you knew the signer and artist ahead of time. I have picked up a few Star Wars and Marvel ones.

Those all look pretty awesome. How much were they in the non-mystery box format?

They were all different prices. I believe they took the signing fee for that actor and added in a set amount, somewhere from $50-100, for the artwork. I think the pictured ones ranged from $175 to $775.

Cool. So I guess $200 is reasonable. Hopefully they didn't put too many duds in there.

If these are the typical SWAU mystery offerings don't expect anything earth shattering.

SWAU uses their mystery products to absolutely dump the crap that doesn't sell unto people who fall for the advertising.

Yep gonna be a lot of Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder and the ever popular “Many many more”. At least this offers the chance at some really good artwork and not just the auto.

Everyone does. Dangle a carrot to unload all the crap you otherwise couldn't sell.

Many do. Some don't. Primetime Signatures has mystery boxes but they advertise exactly what you can get. If they sell 50 then they release a list of 50. So you know what your high and low end really is.

I got sucked in by the advertising and bought the first SWAU mystery autograph they offered last year.

$100 + $23 shipping

I got Stephen Colcutt. Who you may ask? Darth Vader back-up stuntman from Empire Strikes Back.

I feel lucky enough to just buy the autographs I want from SWAU rather than go the mystery box route. For what you could end up getting, the price of these things is such a kick in the family jewels.
