I guess one positive thing to come out of his slump is that I got this fairly cheap…

Not one peep about the 496 ft Moon Shot J-Sanch hit at Coors Field yesterday?

It's the second longest HR recorded at Coors Field in its 27-year history

Just goes to show how irrelevant the Marlins are...

It certainly did not go unnoticed. I saw the highlight on YT just a few hours earlier. Dude looked like he put everything into that swing. A true monster blast.

Meanwhile, here's my May contribution:

I'm guessing this guy's another flash-in-the-pan type bust?

We’ll see next time he comes up. The marlins have not done good things for his confidence

Was there ever a flash? It was more like “ hopes based on potential” with him.

He’s been on a heater. No denying that. Hope it stays. Crazy to see the Marlins doing this well in the standings in June.

As long as Avi stays out of the lineup they have a chance

My favorite part of this season is that the rotation has been so-so but the bullpen is carrying them

Let’s go Fish

Ng has done a fantastic job with building a competitive team in Miami, but Avi has easily been her worst move. Overall though, I give her high marks so far as GM.

I'm just glad they got rid of Mattingly.

Default **Perennial Jesus Sanchez Thread**

I’m a huge Braves fan, but Ng has put together a young, cheap, and talented roster, now she just needs to lock up a few smart extensions and sign 1-2 impact bat free agents (or trade for them), OF and 3B would be best for them (or 1B, Yuli or Arraez can fake 3B if needed), lots of high upside prospects in the minors that aren’t living up to expectations (Berry, Ian, Yiddi, Khalil). Segura is a useful piece but he needs to be a super utility bench player. If Jazz can live up to the hype and stop getting hurt this is a dangerous team.

Hope they give him a chance vs LHP.

I do have one concern. His average launch angle is a little low. For him it might now matter though since he crushes baseballs.

His launch angle may be lower because he’s not trying to torque everything

His hard hit ball % is up, barrel% way up, exit velocity up…

I’ll take it!

I hope this works out.

I just don't see many home run hitters with a launch angle <10%.
