Do people lose money on COMC?

I see cards selling for under $0.75. Is there a way to get cheaper rates or are people losing money on selling their cards?

Cheapest rate is 50 cents per card. Thats not quite losing money.

Some people buy ports or cards for pennies. They can then attempt to flip those.
