Really excited about this release since it’ll be our first opportunity at XRCs for the 2023 rookie class which looks loaded.

The additional tier is just a later checklist variation of players already in the set, though, yes?

It's not like a huge, DEEP, checklist, right?

Forgot about the XRCs, though the Niners took safeties and kickers. Not expecting much for me there.

The Select design looks like Best Choice brand to me. I'll never understand the appeal.

Did FOTL sell out around $900? Crazy. I guess the XRC hype could be nice.

FOTL "sold out" with around 20 seconds left on 5 minute drop at $891. Sold out higher than Prizm FOTL. Sold out $230 a box higher than the Prizm Premium sets where you got a 1/1 in every bx.

After months of having prices around the same and no catalyst to jump them up BO upped Select hobby from $575 to $750, Encased from $550 to $750, and NT from $2450 to $3000. I guess when you can't sell any at the lower prices it makes perfect sense to jack up the prices when absolutely nothing the last few days has happened for that to make sense. Did BO get their allocation of FOTL upped or is this all a big coincidence?

Whatever minority percentage of the print run did, $891.67. Saw Hobby offered for $560 this morning.

The price tracker on Twitter showed the Blowout price increase for Select but no other retailer followed. Kinda odd. Surprised FOTL holds a $300+ premium.

2022 football wax has been jumping past couple weeks, but ~$900 per on this is surprising when the chase hits aren't that highly desired

The auction was manipulated as usual. Could see this potentially hitting the floor otherwise.

What products where it's actual sales and not BO's manipulation bs? Everyone besides BO had Select yesterday for $575 a box. Prizm football hobby is maybe up 10-15% in the last few weeks but FOTL is around the same or down, and the Premium sets are down. That's Prizm though not a junk or average demand product. There is nothing that happened in terms of the actual market to cause mass increases on those products BO wasn't selling at the lower prices. Probably a combination of they are not selling any Panini basketball hobby at presale or their sky high prices and their FOTL allocation is increasing.

Contenders Optic, Optic, Prizm, Contenders, Phoenix, Limited all have price gains in last 2-3 weeks. If you play the whole what it started vs where it is now then that gets dicier on most, but if you are talking from pricing 2 weeks ago vs pricing today they are trending up.

Every single one of those besides Prizm is around the same. Maybe a few percent increase. There may be a few sales 10% higher but there are some the same or 10% lower. Hardly reasons for huge increases on future products they couldn't sell at the lower prices. Just like you mentioned, they are all still down to way down from presale prices.

The dollar continues to be devalued, inflation continues to rise.

Difference is the xrc’s which gives this product a premium over other 2022 products. That being said, would love to see the actual checklist.

Oh so that's how give or take 5,000 boxes of FOTL "sold out" at $891 plus tax. For months you could buy as much hobby as you wanted for $575 a box or less. Including less than 24 hours before the auction from everyone but the world's #1 price manipulator. There are tons of presale case sales on ebay for under $6000 a case or $500 a box. But yeah apparently the average buyer paid over $12,000 a case over $1,000 a box to buy FOTL during the auction.

Just like almost every other time, clearly all the FOTL boxes were not available during the auction. Not that anything would come of it but would be great if the people that stole all that data exposed all this bs that we know is going on.

I am not saying FOTL was a good deal at the price (we passed on it as we believe its too high relative to hobby). I’m just saying the product has increased popularity because of the xrc’s.

Welp, it's roaring up now and making FOTL not look so crazy. Hobby from $550-575 pre FOTL drop to $750-800 now

This is what can happen when you have a small group of bums that pay so little of a price for something it's just a question of how much profit will they make. They have no incentive to sell in demand new product for market value. It clearly was not selling strong at $575-$600. They all had it available at that price for months. But it is a hot product that breakers want. It's not like there are a million sales. The last few days ebay sales are $550-$650. One sale at $700 that could easily be fake. Less than 10 sales. Dealernet a few sales $633-$666 with one 2 box sale at $700. Highest offer $641. Is this the only money tree member manipulated hobby product this year to increase in price from the average presale? If you go from the final presale it's still down.

They will keep prices high on in demand product so they can sell the breaks to the morons at the higher prices. That's the whole reason for setting prices on new product so high. The main price manipulators, like BO, have no incentive to sell new product. The prices they have had on most 22-23 basketball hobby they may not be selling a single box of those products. It's all about what they can sell breaks at.

The checklist goes to 500 (!) And they added a 5th level. Anyone paying full price on these deserves what they get.

Watched one FOTL break on YT yesterday. Think it was Chicity. He got:

Orange Pulsar/7 - Kyle Duggar
Orange RPA (forget the #)- Ty Thornton
Rookie Auto (/60?)- Ty Thornton
XrC Silver Redemption QB 4 - will levis

That's awful even with the XRC. That's worse than Prizm for odds. Worse than Sparkle packs.
