Last I checked he was solidly up. That was about two weeks ago. If he's tanked since then, that is market related and not Carroll related.

Carroll's ROY odds are down to +165. That puts the breakeven at a little over 37%. There is still too much season left for me to be comfortable at that number.
Francisco Alvarez is down to +800. That is quite a move. I still would take him over Carroll at this price, but I don't love it as much as 50:1...obviously. In the NL I think the two I would take today are Miguel Vargas and/or Eury Perez at +2500. I like Vargas as a player much more than maybe I should...especially since he plays for the Dodgers. Perez has shown me enough and I think it's a little easier for pitchers to run extremely hot over a half season. In the AL I saw Yoshida in person and there is nothing especially impressive about him. He's the leader right now, but no way is he strong enough to be +170. Variance is going to be the determining factor in the AL. I'd take Jung at +1200 or Gunnar at +2700. The guy I really like is Neto at +6000. I think Jung at Neto have the easiest path to build a narrative.

I've noticed that's a popular narrative that some sling on here when they don't like the player or the team said player belongs to. I sold my best Carroll card, a 2011 1st bowman chrome blue auto refractor for $675 last year. A raw one sold in March for $872, a PSA 9 sold for $1189 in April. Tanked, lol.

I had a 2019 Bowman Chrome Red Refractor auto in a BGS case get dropped off at my doorstep about a year ago. Anyone know what those are going for these days?

As a D'Backs fan, I'm really needing Topps to give him some cool cards in Stadium Club. I just can't get into the flagship design this year, and while his Heritage cards aren't bad, I was really hoping for a variation that looked something like Wander's did last year...
