So we are happy with the price? Are we happier if the public on sale is higher or Dutch auction? Haha.

![]() We did see a jump in price from presale to launch on a recent product, but as these are both pre-sales they traditionally have stayed the same. This one won't be via auction but who knows what the future holds on that front. |

I think they are pretty low risk at $199. They won't take off to 4-digits of the gate the way last year's did, but I don't see box prices dropping after the sale is over.

Interesting it isn’t a Dutch auction tomorrow…. I’m guessing the preorder will also be at 199.

Agreed, especially with chance at Fisher, Hamill and Ford autos.....plus redemptions of original 1983 cards.

The checklist is over 100% larger than last year so production will be at least doubled, more if additional parallels are added. There’s no way this comes anywhere close to following last years madness.

I agree. The autos are great but going to be next to impossible to hit I'm guessing. Probably a pr of 5 or less for each. The buybacks really don't add much unless they are 9s or 10s. It's also not the "first Star Wars Sapphire" which will keep prices lower IMO. That, and the larger set, will reduce the number of set builders. I think this is a good buy at $200 and it might spike to $400 or so on release, but I bet it sinks back pretty quickly to $200-$275.

Star Wars Sapphire is a prime example of why for limited products they need to run dutch auctions with a reasonable floor price. Run the rest tomorrow with a $200 floor. People that want it can buy more and it will sell out higher. Instead, it's going to be a 1 or 2 box max strict limit per household at $200. No limit for bots who will gobble up 90% of it and make sure it sells out very quickly. At least there is a countdown timer with a date so you don't have to waste multiple days and time looking for it.
