Default 1969 topps Johnny Bench RC trimmed?

I know Greg Morris Cards are pretty solid and probably the best Vintage seller on ebay. However, I know they are not exempt from letting trimmed cards slip through the cracks.

Thoughts on this Bench?
1969 Topps

Looking at the back view, maybe my eyes are deceiving me but the top looks to go down and then back up. I'm still fairly new to vintage so pardon my ignorance if i'm way off base here.

First of all, it is not his rookie. That is 1968.

The border size looks correct and I don't see anything obvious that says it is altered. However, most times you can't tell until you get the card in hand and look at the side of the edges with a loupe.

With that centering, I wouldn't even try to get that card. One of Greg Morris customer's will pay a fortune for that card.

Appreciate the feedback. Agree on his customers, his stuff always goes way to hight for me to bother with buying anything of it, but i've been watching a lot of his auctions with some others to try and become better attuned at spotting altered cards as best I can online.

It is almost impossible to tell from online images. You might be able to tell cards that are smaller than typical or miscut, but identifying trimmed cards from an online image is impossible unless it is very obvious.

I would say "no".

The bottom corners are too soft & you can even see the wear on the reverse.

I admire the eBay operation and angle GM Cards has taken in the market with predomoninatly raw singles - his prices are strong with so many eyeballs on his auctions.
