Maybe Fanatics is embracing George from Seinfeld and is going to do the opposite of Panini

Didn't Panini take Upper Decks staff.

Haha. The irony.

Rumoured trade secrets include a newly-expanded 'Big Cat' parallel theme, adding Leopard Prizm, Cheetah Prizm, and the reportedly 50-case hit Snow Leopard Shimmer Prizm to the annual Tiger Prizm.

Also hearing that patents for a 1:20 off-centering cutting die were stolen by ex-employees, giving Fanatics the huge jump on Panini's current 1:3 abilities.

Action network reported this case had a resolution on Monday in Fanatics favor.

Unless they signed non-competes (and why would Panini require that when there was no competition?) then there is no case. I wouldn't be sure it even matters.

How about filling my redemption trade secret and the "closed" ticket that's been sitting at fedex for 3 months trade secret. How about answering email secrets?

The story of the Panini lawsuit against Fanatics gets even wilder. Apparently the CEO of Panini asked for the same job at Fanatics and used the threat of leaving to get a better offer at Panini.

For those who missed it last night, the latest filing in the Panini v. Fanatics and a Bunch of Former Panini Employees case has allegations that the CEO of Panini was “enthusiastic” to jump ship to Fanatics, but at last minute said no.

What kind of CEO is that? Bahahaha. If there was an imminent deal, so be it but you can't lead a company and be a traitor at the same time....unless...the CEO was pulling a Jedi mind-trick to see who was leaving to Fanatics.

There are obviously trade secrets. We don't know everything that goes on behind closed doors. I have no idea how Panini succeeded in getting idiots to buy overpriced products with a ROI of less than 10%...

With the massive reduction in the amount of cards/sets Panini will produce in the future they're going to have to cut people. Why are they complaining?

That seems like a strange move.

They say never go back to a company you formerly worked at the best of times; but to do so when that company is losing a what must be a significant portion of its income in the next couple of years is an unusual one.

Tell us you don’t know anything about business without saying you don’t know anything about business. Even if they do have to cut people, it surely won’t be the top people Fanatics cherry-picked.
