Still- w/ the bad QC and ridiculous odds on good color, these boxes and cases are not the droids you're looking for IMO. It still has a ways to go down before I'd consider it a decent valued rip.

It's getting nicely cheap now, loving the overproduction. I can buy one box of this for less than the price of two blasters of 2023 bowman baseball.

I bought some just for fun to bust throughout the year when I'm bored.

I broke down and bought a case. Big mistake. I was chasing big hits, and sure if I got one it would have been worth it, but I didn't get much. That's the game.

Each box had either an auto or numbered card. I got a gold auto of Jesse Winker, 5 regular autos of rookies and 6 numbered cards. Best was a Witt Debut /199.

I got 3-4 of each base Julio/Wander/Tork/Witt (base and debuts). All trash, no chance of Gems.

I got 2 purple Julio and a few each of the other hits, all junk, no chance of Gems.

2 complete base sets, 18 away from a 3rd.

About 20 away from a Purple set.

Pretty rough, but I knew my odds going in.

My Bobby Aqua /250 and Julio auto (base, not numbered) both came back as 10s from PSA. So, I got really lucky on those I think.

Question we have to ask ourselves is with the current BF price of $500 per case is it worth it? I say no.

After ripping a case of this last year you would have to pay me $500 to go through that again.

There's usually a reason now if something is discounted so heavily. The big boys don't want to leave money on the table after what happened pre-pandemic(2018/2019 sales).

Has anyone busted a case of 22 Chrome Update hanger boxes? I've had decent luck with the hangers (in terms of QC and colored cards) and I am tempted to bust a case. Part of the reason is that I would like to put together a complete set of the pink wave refractors.

Are you getting them cheap? Looking at pricing I’d rather open a hanger case of paper 2022 Topps update.
