Finally got my 3 RTOD Sets. A mixed bag of:

Kris Bryant #15/99
Alex Bregman #40/49 (the bottom right corner was pretty bent which was super disappointing)
Miguel Cabera #1/5!! (Definitely the highlight as it's from his last spring training)

Hey, at least it's not the 350 they wanted for the Rutschman, Senga, and Yoshida (twice) RC autos earlier this season.

I'm not going to lie ... if the presale prices of some of the cards I ordered hold. It's going to be hard _not_ to flip the opaque wrapped pack instead of scratching that lottery ticket. I mean Arraez used to be a Twin but if the blind relic pack is still selling for twice what I paid for it after coupon code, it'd be hard not to take that option.

I'm assuming that once everyone has these in hand the market will be infused with both opened and unopened packs and the prices will come down. I'm assuming. Thinking about it that'll probably happen with some cards like Arraez and less with others like Yoshida or Judge.

They should make a card for Hicks' homerun from yesterday's game because it's likely the only highlight he'll have all year.

I only really collect Garbage Pail Kids cards and blew points on the Aaron Judge steals Ohtani card for the 20 pack. Got 2 blue parallels!

That's a great one. I had to snag one too. That and the J.Rod Trident were the same day (or a day apart) and both will likely be in my top 10 Topps Now for the year.

Got the RtoD auto pack I ordered:

Got an Oneil Cruz /99 auto and a Bichette gold /23 parallel. Not crazy that Cruz is out for four months with a fractured ankle. Had I known that autos would be sparse this year, I think I would have just raged on like 10 of these packs instead of waiting and watching. Hope everyone else has good luck with these!

True.

Through the first month and a week (give or take) of this season (March 30 - May 7 games), we have ten auto or auto-relics so far. In about the same portion of last season (April 7 through May 14 games - I'm not counting days, that's close enough at any rate), we had 21. We are, however, up on the non-auto relics, I suppose (this year three bases and a ball, last year two bases and a ball).

To be fair we did also get the WBC cards before this season started, but of course that was all non-auto relics.

Guess they got Volpe under contract for autos finally. And apparently they consider him a "Rutschman/Senga/Yoshida RC guy" rather than a "Harris RC guy"...
