When Altuve comes back, that pace will jump up to 220!

Juan Gonzalez holds the record for most RBI in April, with 35. Yordan is at 21 with seven games to go this month, so the record is a long shot. But it’s not completely out of reach. Unfortunately, the season started in March, when he collected his first 4 RBI.

Still no movement on Yordan. PSA 10 TC Refractors for $45. PSA 10 Topps rookies for $15. Just goes to show you cannot go anywhere in the hobby playing DH most of the time

Baseball players don’t care about card values. He has appeared in 3 WS, has 1 ring. Acuna and Soto both have a ring each, Acuna was injured that year though but was on the roster. Soto was electric that year they won against Houston.

Judge zero, 1 MVP.
Trout zero rings, 3 MVPs.

Trout, who many argue is the best player in the game, has never won a single playoff game. Ohtani has yet to play in one, and with the current state of the hierarchy of the AL West, the Angels may never.
It’s always been a knock that Trout has zero postseason experience yet he has strong card prices and a hobby following that he has built with consistent greatness and 3 MVPs.

Card prices are popularity contests we all know that.
Several guys back their values up (Ohtani due to his incredible 2-way ability), but as Soto has shown, he even great players can struggle, which proves how great guys like Trout are. Alvarez may never win an MVP, or get high card prices like others, but he’s been in the league almost 4 years and has a better postseason resume than everyone I’ve listed except Betts. If Houston wins another ring within the next few years, and he contributes mightily to it, he will solidly himself as one of the best players we seen in regular season and post, in years. Hobbyists won’t appreciate him the way they should, and that’s ok, because Yordan doesn’t care what his PSA cards are selling for. He cares about championships.

I have no idea what he said as I have him on ignore but obviously being clutch is not enough to raise the prices of his cards. Yordan's a great player, one of the best hitters in the league. But as I've been saying for years in this thread, being a DH and an Astro will always hold his card prices back. Unfortunately the pumpers in this thread, like yourself, have been calling Yordan "cheap" all the way down over the last two years. I feel for anyone who lost a ton of money following "advice" in this thread

I wasn’t trying to rebut anyone. I know people want guys cards to take off, and I’d sure live to see it, although I don’t have any more. Too many seem to be more concerned and worried about investment of cards rather than apprecIate and enjoy the game and it’s players. People would rather cheer for a known PED user whose cards are valued higher rather than appreciate a guy who is a pure hitter and gives 100% to the game.

I don't doubt it. But over the past years, he was constantly pumped as cheap in this thread, including by you. I tried to continually warn everyone that he would continue going down even if he crushed, like last season. He's a great buy as a fan and one of the best hitters in baseball, but a terrible investment.

I'm sure there are people that spent $50 on PSA 10 RC's that are now worth half that. At some point, you gotta just let it go. If peeps didn't learn their lesson during the pandemic highs and today's market lows....there isn't anything you can do about it.
